SCHENECTADY — A city man, who told police he was robbed Monday at gunpoint outside a local hospital, has been charged with shoplifting at a nearby pharmacy, police said.
James Johnson of State Street was charged with shoplifting "miscellaneous items" from the CVS pharmacy at Eastern Avenue and McClellan Street, down the street from Ellis Medicine's McClellan Street campus.
