I own a home, have a spouse and children, and pay property taxes. I wouldn't expect you to understand. Reality is tough, go back to fantasy land.
Quite honestly, the fact that you have a spouse and children proves ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Almost half of the adult population in America is single and whether I have children or other information about my personal life is --- to put it bluntly -- none of your damn business. The same is true about the details of my property holdings and finances.
I realize it must be difficult for you to live in the wretched squalor of your hate-filled life. Try letting go of your prejudice and hatred ... develop a positive attitude ... then you might actually enjoy life.

I don't hate...When you start working a full time job and having to budget your money to provide food clothing and shelter for children that are 100% dependent on you, then pay taxes to support a failed theatrr, then we'll talk.
I realize it must be difficult to live a life with such little to look forward to besides your little government appointments. The emptiness must be tormenting. I can understand why you have chosen a political party as the family to fill that emptiness.

You are not just a hater -- you are someone who prejudges everyone else even when you don't know 98% of the facts and - worse - you expect that everyone else must be exactly like you.
I have lived a very full life so far and look forward to each new day which is full with work and social activities. I have worked very productively and fulfillingly in both paid and voluntary capacities. I am very happy to be at a place in my life where I am financially able to devote time to my church and community.
As for your invitation "then we'll talk" -- well -- I hate to burst your bubble but I am way too busy enjoying my life and genuinely good POSITIVE thinking people that I call friends. Besides, you seem rather boring. bigoted and negative --- and I would hate to subject my friends and family to such nastiness.

No DV, you are the one who calls everybody negative that is critical of all your little government funded pet project. Instead of walking in the shoes of people that are living on very tight budgets taking care of their families. You mock them for speaking out against government spending on projects. Projects that have ZERO positive impact on their daily lives. You know what does have an impact - the obscene tax bill that comes in the mail asking for MORE money. They want more money for a failed theater, or more money for a crony business, more money for more bureaucrats. A majority of the money I pay in taxes DOES NOT directly benefit me. If you ever experienced the huge responsibility involved in providing for a family, your opinion on throwing tax money down a rat hole like Proctors, while Philip Morris sits there collecting a 6 figure salary may be different.
Proctor's is a great treasure --- for those of us who appreciate it .. we will continue to work to get more grants to help it continue its existing programs and to expand its programs
.. as for those who don't appreciate it --- give the bums the "bronx cheer" and ignore them

...and I didn't even regroup anything. If you can't trust what he says when he's "not going to respond to someone, how can he be in any position of trust in government? Or any position of trust at all?
