My wife went to the mall today and was panhandled by two teen girls with menacing attitudes so that they could "go to the movies."

We saw a real cute one downtown yesterday. Of course we were not there to shop since there is nothing that can be bought downtown, but merely "cutting through" coming back from Glenville Hannaford. This one, just as many of those state workers are walking out the door from work. We were in the car of course. I guy with some kind of boots, sort of like galoshes, not even tied around his legs. He had white shorts with maybe dark red plaid lines on them, actually, they looked like boxers. Then seemed like a denim jacket, hair looked like it hadn't seen a comb in a decade. He was crossing the street and he could barely stand up. Oh, of course, a brown paper bag in his hand that obviously contained a bottle.
Ewwww.
I should start carrying the camera with me and pos photos of "downtown's finest." No wonder those state workers flee the city at the end of their workday. No wonder none of them are buying houses in the city.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
on second thought....I think I would bring a trout....yes, a trout to the mall everytime I went there....just to smack such folks upside the head......is there a law against that?????
