Recently a family member asked my wife & I what we thought about the Iowa 'vote'.  My answer, it means nothing to US as residents of New York State, upstate sub division.

As a New Yorker who 'may' not vote Democrat, my vote is of no value, especially in a presidential election.  I think I understand the concept of an electoral college but it negates my vote.  Maybe some clever ACLU lawyer should sue over my vote being taken away from me.  They worry about illegal's, people with or without ID's, how about me?

Iowa was a freak show as they all are.  The money spent on primaries & elections is immoral.  Yes we are an immoral society.

Rarely are issues discussed, just where a candidate is in some pollsters calculations.  Why should candidates talk issues, we all know, left or right, they break their campaign promises.

The United States & New York State especially needs a voters civil rights movement.
