Who is he to question anyone's personal beliefs? Kommie Karl should write another nit wit column on how rapists and Islamic terrorists were all wrongly convicted -lol. In the name of blessed St Kateri fire him!

LMAO!!!

Benny condemns Strock for "questioning any ones personal beliefs"...
Then Benny slams both  "Kommies" and "Islam" in once sentence!
For Benny... life is a "one way street"   His way.

WHO CARES ABOUT WHAT STROCK SAYS.....???......IDIOTS......GOD CAN DEFEND HIM/HERSELF.....how are you doing in your life???? did you put your application in to god about your sainthood???

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Strock’s writings on religion are right on!

Carl Strock’s columns about religion give me hope that there are still sensible, logical people in this country. It’s
a joy for me to read his writing — he makes a lot more sense than the religious screamers who have become
so firmly entrenched in our culture.
If you don’t like what he writes, don’t read it. But I look forward to reading Carl! And I am grateful. He speaks
for me and many others out here.

The guys a loon, I don't pay much attention to him but from what I know he operates like a scumbag. For one instance he went into a private business acting like a customer, never stating he wished to do a article, he then went on to smear the business but also the owner because he disagreed with what they sold.

Kommie Karl finally found one lunatic from Fonda to support his brilliant "writings". After a week of getting his head bashed in from dozens of letter writers. Surprised Boxy didn't post Rev Morrette's letter- lol. Now it's bashing Islam if you say that convicted Islamic terrorists {that legal moron Karl wants freed} are actually Muslim. Karl needs to get off Catholicism and write about something he knows about like hogging comps at Proctor's.

Critical voice like Strock’s is welcome

Obviously many local religious people are offended by the critique of popular Christian practices offered from time to
time by Carl Strock. Those who have been offended should note that the critical element is (blessedly) an essential
and integral part of the Abrahamic traditions, which is to say, the biblical tradition.
Strock and his wry, understated humor is actually quite tame in comparison with the words of the prophets, and even
those of Jesus himself. Such invective as, “I hate and despise your new moons and sabbaths . . .” actually make
Strock sound a bit wimpy. Or, say, Jesus’ words labeling Jerusalem as “the city that murders prophets.”
Truth to tell, we need more of the vigorously critical, not less. We need a Strock in every hamlet in this country. It’s
a lonely job, but it desperately needs doing. And, of course, in the long run, the critical voice is honored,
but — again
quoting Jesus — never honored in the prophet’s own home town. Some things never change.
Bravo to the Gazette for giving space to this belated prophet, this voice crying in the Schenectady wilderness. As
long as there is a strong self-critical voice around here, we can have hope.

Two weeks of unstoppable letters to the editor against Karl the bigoted anti-Catholic basher and hater. Hate speech is not allowed-unless it's against believers-than anything goes. Kommie Karl has finally been hoisted on his own pittard. Should have been done long ago. Father Morrette should lead a picket line at the offices of this anti-Catholic rag.
