I agree. $30,000 in damages? Take that bullsh*t to somebody stupid enough to believe it.
The whole damned display didn't cost $30,000, yet that's the amount you wish to recoup to "make things whole with your vendor"???

The damage was minimal, and the only lasting "damage", was spray paint on a cardboard sign.

Again, $30,000??? You don't have to be Edison to splice a few cheap orange extension cords from Kmart, yet it took 5 electricians an afternoon to repair?

I've done my share of professional stage lighting, and display work, and that stuff looks like some handyman just whipped it up in his garage.
