Stereotyping thugs and drug addicts are almost becoming a thing of the past. There are many many 'upstanding looking' citizens that are also drug addicts and you would never know it!!!! They live everywhere and work everywhere!! And they are ALL ages!!Some are rich and can support their own habits without robbing a business/residence. Some are working but don't make enough to support their habit and hence turn to selling their personal possessions, to robbing.

It's sad, but a fact!

When there was a lot of drug activitiy in front of my home, the majority of the cars that pulled up to buy were young clean cut white kids or woman with kids in the car.

That's weird.  It was little old ladies and Siamese twins at mine.  An occasional police officer.....

Ok  Ok....enuf of the sermon....yes, they were black....and hoods....thugs.....

there is enuf knowledge that is known that theives come in all shapes sizes, colors, rich or poor, middle class.....and so on and so on

All I did was make a comment on my experience....I have lived long enough to know what my gut feeling is

They were thugs.....and I was scared... and alone...........OK????

Doesn't make me a bad person....but when you bloggers want to hit on someone....boy it surely makes one understand that

remarks that are not politically correct , really come back at you.....

Thanks really appreciate the concern.....just the same don't wander down to the City much....as a matter of fact, I was raised

in that section of Town....it was safe and in simple times....yes, some good citizens are still living there, but most of those I

grew up with have since left for other parts and not necessarily in the area.....in the day....oh what a neighborhood.

Wasn't a sermon   I've lived on the Hill most of my life and it's not a nice place to live. Many bad things have happened here. Would love to live somewhere else out of Sch'dy. BUT you cannot assume that while driving down State St. that the "thugs" were from the Hill, because crime is rampant in most of the city and has been for awhile. Allthough many times I have stated how awful it is here , it is also not good to have everyone grouped into a category because of where we live. I cannot have a pizza delivered from Pizza Hut because of where I live, police do NOT take most crimes that happen to homeowners here as seriously as they do in other parts of the city ex. Downtown, etc etc. I understand you were scared and glad you were ok.

Merry Christmas.

I feel I was right and do not degrade where anyone chooses to live....The Hill was my neighborhood for many many years.

when it was safe....all I am saying is that I said what I did because of the truth....you may think that it is not in good taste

but , I would hope that things would get better...but evidently it is not...Woodlawn, Mt Pleasant Bellevue all have crime of some

sort....travelling down McClellan is an example of what happened to the neighborhood....criminals come up from NYC and know

this City is an easy target....that's all I want to say on this subject....I came from a lower class neighborhood but it wasn't really

because WE didn't know it.....and different eithnic groups were all around us.....But, it was safe....

Meant no harm to judge anyone because of where they live....I just gave my opinion as to what happened....and not to be taken

in a negative or biased way......I see other bloggers relating their feelings/observations in the same way....but in different words...

.I speak from my heart.and been brought up to tell the truth for fear of God.... and love of my faith...

Maybe this is TMI but to blog here is difficult at times....but I try to do my best.   I have negatives and not a high rating

but that   goes over my head....because to me, that is a judgement from others who don't agree or like what I

stated....have learned a lot about politics and see what it's all about....has been informative to me....

HAVE A GOOD DAY.

completely agree with you.....keep being honest....THAT'S what moves the conversation forward NOT the sticky mud of political correctness where no one wants to hear your thoughts unless
they are soft/comforting and ear tickling.....

PS... ignore the score.....I do.....

Under the alleged renaissance and working together implosion Hamilton Hill has spread out to half the City. No area of the County is as safe as it was a decade ago. The FBI has issued repeated warnings about the spike in gang activity and violent crime COUNTYWIDE. This is all deemed renaissance by the DEM sock puppets here.

There's no violent crime Downtown. According to Dave Demento and his working together crew.
