You obviously have not read the report. It states how the unified economic team that you support is not unified, is in many instances illegal and refuses to make public information or have a lawful purpose. Working together is a political buzz work for DEMS only, refusing to follow open government laws and excluding any non DEM from participation. Perfect example in the open City Council seat. DEMS only! No one else need apply.

Every time the GOP in the local area has controlled a legislative body and been faced with filling a vacancy, it has met privately and chosen a fellow Republican  (or in one case a Conservative but that was part of a deal to get cross endorsements) ---- so I see NOTHING wrong with the City Council Democrats only looking at Democratic candidates to fill the upcoming Council vacancy.

Working Together is more than a "buzzword" for Democrats -- it is a way of living.   It may be a "buzzword" for Republicans ... just like the words fiscal conservative and family values are "buzzwords" that Republicans use during campaigns but don't actually live out in practice.

Authorities like the plex should NOT be in existence....PERIOD!! Didn't like it back when Farley supported it and don't like it now. Never thought government/taxpayers should be subsidizing, relocating, supporting or building private business. It only gives a false sense of economic security!

First the government socializes our retirement(social security), then our medical(medicare/medicaid/obamacare) and now they want to socialize business!! They tell you what to eat, what not to eat, what to drink and not drink, how to raise your kids, what words/phrases you can say that are politically correct, they can detain you indefinitely......HELLO....anybody see what direction this is going in?

We are working our asses off and getting less in our paycheck while the government is getting more, while THEY create a 'rat on the wheel' society.

This is insane!!!

ABOLISH THE PLEX!!!

Abolish the Metrograft mess, consolidate the County Legislature into a Board of Supervisors so the Hilltowns finally get representation and dissolve ALL BIDS and IDA's. Before the State mandates it. Just because the REPS did something doesn't make it right. The last defense of a child-the other kid did it. The City is facing financial ruin. Open the process up to ALL parties not just DEMS. Stop working together into bankruptcy. BTW, it looks like the working together crew has decided to stiff its last reliable voting bloc. Pass the popcorn.

Metroplex was supposed to be responsible to the taxpayers but instead it became a run a way train feeding on it's own greed and control.

just because something isn't illegal doesn't make it right
just because something is legal doesn't make it wrong


regulation and legislation by the few to rule over the masses.....

too bad we keep going to our leaders for stupid 'feel-good' legislation as if those laws will fix humankinds souls....ie: Leandra's law;Buster's law etc etc........those are things we should be ashamed
of asking the government to assist with.....

Gazetto editorial repeats my earlier post about opening up the City Council. Keep reading my posts and including them in your editorials. Metrograft is a total failure, makes up job creation figures, violates open government laws and was caught self dealing by the State. It will be dissolved right after the illegal RIDA.

Unemployment 12% higher than the Upstate average. Yeah the unified working together morons are doing a job. Ripping off the County taxpayers while failing to bring in even one new retailer. National or otherwise. Keep the shell game going!
