As for the woman driver I am not excusing her at all, but wondering if she had a medical issue, or maybe due to weather she didn't see your sister, as the lighting in that area is awful. (Since the lighting was changed years ago and when it rains its hard to see in many areas of the city, drivers must be very careful driving in these conditions)

Well he wil lnever show, just like his other egos won't show....but if he did, you would ahve to get in line before you get a chance to have a "meeting" with him.....there ar a few of us that have requested such a meeting for quite awhile now.

description of who the victim is. a church going woman.....if the driver was any kind of churchgoer   she should be the one to

face DVOR and the rest and give him hell......AND, she is not blameless....how fast was she going to eject this woman into the air..

and maybe...just maybe....thie driver needs to be restested for her license...and make sure she has corrective eyeglasses..

First, the word you're looking for, is "refute", not "repute", and don't dare say it's a typo, because you are just another ignoramus defending the status quo, and screwing others for your own well being, is in your blood.

If you can possibly master the task, download "Google Earth". In "street view, you'll see that where this woman lives, is far from being the "inner city", it's directly behind Aldi's.

Checking the aerial view, you'll see that this woman was taking the safest possible route to the church, which is directly next to the bingo hall on State St, in Woodlawn.
The only nearby crosswalk dead ends in 5 feet as there is no sidewalk to State St. there. Taking Albany St. to the church is a much longer, and far more dangerous route, as the sidewalks are even more sporadic than where she was coming from.
At least State St., has a contiguous sidewalk that will take her all the way to her destination.

The New York State vehicle and traffic law is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Pedestrians have the right of way, and vehicles MUST YIELD at all times, no matter the circumstance.
