Just blame the victim is what you are saying!

If he didn't have all that money in his wallet, the murder wouldn't have killed him to take it... blame the victim.
If she didn't dress like that, she wouldn't have been raped... blame the victim.
The old lady didn't want her purse stolen, she should have left it at home... blame the victim.

Here we go!!!  Making outrageous comparisons.  You are comparing murder, rape, and robbery to bullying and teasing.  Incredible!!!

The statists would LOVE to make bullying a crime equal to murder.  Anything to create more victims for the state to protect.

Folks that are 'teased' can and should empower themselves by creating their own worth, beliefs and values. That is the way the 'victim' becomes the victor!!

I agree that the comparison of bullying to the other "crimes" is not a reasonable comparison.  Victims in those "crimes" are victims differently than victims of bullying....not a fair comparison, sorry.

The severity of the crimes differ, but blaming the victim for the incident is the same.

No one asks to be bullied. No one wants it or promotes it.  For those with forceful personalities, bullying seems a
minor incident, but for those with a less aggressive demeanor, bullying can be serious.

When it comes to bullying victims, it becomes apparent that bullying has serious and lasting effects. Bullying victims often experience a series of emotional problems that can last the rest of their lifetime.

Well, the way it was when I was growing up, the kids that didn't bully but weren't afraid of the bully, stuck up for the kids with the "less aggressive demeanor".  Bullying isn't some epidemic where a bunch of bureaucrats get together and do studies and try to change behavior by legislating laws to punish the bully.  This isn't a societal problem where state social engineering is the solution.

As for making fun of other kids, that was a constant.  But I don't consider that bullying.  Teasing isn't bullying.  I'm sure you remember the old saying 'sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me'.  I don't consider being called things like 'fatso' or '4 eyes' or even 'b**ch' or 'whore' reaches the level of bullying.  Kids that are affected by name calling have self esteem problems.  Making everybody a victim just perpetuates the victimization by reaffirming that victims cannot help themselves.  Victims must continue to be victims and wait for an authority to protect them.

You are correct. People are in total control when it comes to 'teasing'. Just hit the 'ignore' option in  your brain and move on!! Create your own worth not those dictated by others.

I'm sorry to say.........but this is just another example of government saying 'you can't take care of  yourself'......'you don't have what it takes'.....'you are emotionally inept'.............'your skin is too thin'.............almost like bullying......yes?

Define it as accurately as you would define battery, and murder. Please, do. The liberal definition of bullying is when conservatives don't crumple up like a cheap suit in the face of liberal demands and liberal arguments. Then the conservative is a bully because he is willing to defend his views and his ideals. I know all about it.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

while I respect your opinion under the first amendment  .....and doesn't mean that I have to ignore what is wrong...

If I choose to answer the troll....that's my right ...and I don't feel like a victim or inteimated by the blabber that he spews.

Doesn't make me a bad person....but standing up is my choice....and I don't need a lecture from anyone why I do respond

The very fact that I am saying words that aren't lyrics or in a song...doesn't make me any different in my responses..

K?     In fact....DEBATE as I call it...are great to keep the mind functioning...

And remaining anonymous????   what's the crime??  I would debate any anonymous in person....this venue makes

it perfect for the troll.....ignore?   you do that not me.....and bullying is a non-political act...face value...

just sayin'.....

people are responsible for what goes in and what comes out......that is life.....

bullying example:

story from an elder of past Schenectady. He was told to vote a certain way in the union. He voiced his dislike and that he was not going to. They offered him money and he still refused. Then they threatened to burn his home down.

the bully stuff in school is a lesson in---- "folks really can be a$$holes and I will always run into a$$holes throughout my life"

empower yourself to see a truth for what it is and 99% of the time we triumph and survive....the Political Correctness in society has removed that part of the grey matter realestate from peoples minds and souls(thank you leaders)
to make them shells of them former selves and pushing legal drugs such as zoloft/xanax/paxil/prozac etc......shame on our leaders/public schools......survival of the individual is more important as a strong foundation of
a strong society.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

HEARD IN THE DONUT SHOP

There is one new elected person...who is very good at bullying.....and that is because of the political - personal agenda

that brings about the abuse of power to those that cannot be controlled or their spirit broken......a good lesson learned that

respect is not in that person's vocabulary or behavior....that is saved for those that can be controlled and believe lies, and slanderous

statements.......THE PERSON IS GOOD AT THAT....too bad the voters didn't know the truth before the election....

What goes around will come around.....and hopefully soon....judgement is not always in death....it can come anytime....

PAY ATTENTION....AND BE VIGILANT OF WHAT GOES ON AS THE NEW REGIME TAKES OVER. ....

Those who have power or are part of the power structure are the ones who are ABLE to be bullies. A solitary man or woman who stands up for herself and brooks no schit is not the bully. The bullies usually have official or unofficial imprimaturs and/or badges or titles of some sort which give them "magic" power to either "do what and say what you are supposed to" or "suffer the consequence." Take for instance the chief fundraiser for the political party that controls 5/5 town seats, both judgeships and 14/15 county seats, the State Governorship and Administration and the White House and Federal Administration. And take how he throws around casual threats and comments. Now THAT is a bully, safely ensconced in a smelly basement flat that his aunts lend him, in front of his crusty keyboard. THAT is a bully. One who can make your life very difficult with a few well placed calls...

What's the story behind Bradshaw's banner that WAS at that gun store at 5 corners?
First ya see it...then ya don't? Did the wind blow it off?

A few well placed calls can be very effective.

If a citizen sees a violation of a town ordinance and calls the proper authorities -- that is NOT considered harassing -- that is considered being a good citizen.

BTW -- if Bradshaw wanted to be Town Justice so badly .. you would think that he would learn what the ordinances are regarding campaign signs  and OBEY THEM.
