Ron's not happy unless he has the last word on the subject.

Without proof, it's all BS anyway.

He's a nobody like the rest of us.  The somebody's of the world are messing it up enough.  People are homeless, losing their homes by the day, dying because of the lack of heat, drugs or help, people getting shot mugged and rapped and this guy is spewing history about food.  What a waste of time and energy.  Makes me want to put an upperdecker in any resturant that he promotes.

I will not go to la Dolce Vita just by the appearance of that creepy guy on the menu.  The died hair and mustache.  The creepy hair under his lip and the sprayed on hair do.  Looks just like a dude who hangs out with DVR.

Maybe the nayboobs think that they are "nobodies", I certainly don't.  I know that the things that I have stated are true ...  and I am actually quite happy that a bunch of teaparty-NNTP Know-Nothing Republicans have decided to patronize OTHER businesses than the ones I go to.   For everyone 1 of them there are 99 other good and decent people who will patronize those businesses and we prefer not to deal with boorish pigs.

And that's why you and I are completely different.  You are happy with Schenectady (City and County) being part of the 99%.  I would like it to be one of the top 10% of the best places to live in the country.

What you don't understand smarty is that if you and the rest of the Lemmings dont wake up and demand excellence from your party then those 99 others you speak about wont be able to afford to join you.  I know one thing genius.  There is a higher likelyhood that I will be the ones feeding the needy in the future, not you flubby.   Go ahead make another userid.  Can't even fake it.  You are weak.  Your idols are weak.  Your posts are weak.  Your so called political buddies dont like you.  Your one of those guys who stands there and waits and waits, stalks.  The only reason they even speak to you is because you pay them or pick up the tab.  Your tips are probably weak.  Low life, reject, imbocile, waste, afterbirth, neck puke, bloated, skin crying, virgin, wannabe, nobody, no doover wishin, pickle juice drinkin.....

The Nattering Nayboobs have to call their 5th grade teachers to find out what  "caesar salad," "polenta" and "Parmigiana" are...... Unfortunately for them they never got that far in school..

I have lived in other parts of the country -- and this area has a lot going for it.  Schenectady County is a very nice place to live.  There is only 1 other place that I would rather live in the world -- and pretty soon I will split my time between my property there and my property here.

He seriously thinks that parmigiana is some high end fare. No wonder he raves about Petta's, a horrible diner and some other local greasy spoons. Most of the places he pushes are barely open. The City has imploded. The DEM morons have raised taxes to the point where 800 property owners threw up hands and fled the State. They just socialized the s*** plant. And the DEM sock puppets here can only talk parmigiana.

Your name appears on no property deeds in Schenectady County - you own NO property here, liar.

I think that it only goes to show the negative business friendly attitude that is Schenectady's city and county taxes in that this restaurant decides that it needs to celebrate each and every MONTH that it is open on it's website.  I kid not.  Copied (not necessisarily the same format) verbatim from their website...
Quoted Text
We have now been officially open for 32 months, and the response has been so Positive by all that have had Dinner or Cocktails and enjoyed the atmosphere, music, and Dancing.

And why is it that they put on their site... "Reservations Preferred!"  Because they want to have a clue how many people to have on working, and they cut back if they're not expecting a big turnout?  It's a big way for them to control costs when they know that there's nobody coming in?

"Randy Loren's Dolce Vita Has Reserved Sundays Exclusively For Your Next Private Affair or Event!" says to me... "We're having enough problems keeping open during the week that we will DEFINITELY be closed on Sundays, unless you want to reserve out the entire house.  OOPS!  Sorry, it's not Sundays.  I just checked another place on the same page...  "SUNDAYS & Mondays ARE NOW RESERVED FOR PRIVATE PARTIES & EVENTS!! "... or is it...  "Closed Sundays For Private Parties, Events, Fundraisers & Small Weddings, Graduations, Communions, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Bridal & Baby Showers, Reunions, Funeral, Receptions "

...but on top of that all, there's only one thing that makes me think that I wouldn't want to go there.  And that is this...

Despite the childish and nasty comments of the nayboobs -- Dolce Vita is an EXCELLENT restaurant -- a small business that chose to invest in Schenectady and doesn't deserve to be attacked by the partisan Know-Nothing teaparty/NNTP Republicants.   These Nayboob Republicants have screwed the small businessperson and middle-class taxpayer for years --- they give huge tax breaks to multi-millionaires and mega-corporations while giving the hard-working people of America the shaft.   Shame on the Nayboob Republicants for their attempts to harm small business in Schenectady County.

Consider the source...

May I suggest Tuesday night --  the buy 1 get 1 free night -- or Wednesday night when they Eggplant Parm and Veal Parm on special ------------   although weekends are great, too ... they have specials on New York Strip.

I expect to be there again sometime next week as I have family flying in for Christmas from out of state.

This is how smart business people give ideas to people and help businesses.  Suggest that they either go on the days that the business makes the smallest amount of profit (Tuesday's, B1G1), or better yet, let's send you there at a time that they will be closed 50% of the time (remember, they're closed Sundays, so I guess that leaves just Saturday).  And this guy works where???  Oh, that's right...

Hahahahhahaha.  Bet they are looking forward to hearing how smart you are.  They probably visit just for a pick me up to their ego.

Is that what they call long distance boyfriends these days?
