McCarthy has been Mayor for several months -- only now we know that he will remain mayor until - at least - December 31, 2015 .....and I predict Gary McCarthy will be Mayor at least through December 31, 2023.

And you are happy that taxes on financially strugging people will rise?
You are happy that financially struggling taxpayers have to pay the taxes of the political conneected crony millionaires downtown?

How long do you think homeowners can keep paying almost the highest taxes in the country?

Of course, you REFUSE to pay the taxes in the city as proven by your REFUSAL to buy a house in the city!    Plummeting home values, buy houses real cheap, low interest rates, taxpayer handouts for down payments, etc. and STILL you REFUSE to set foot into the city to live in it.  \

HELL!   DV is such a big hypocrite that he won't even rent an apartment in the city---he avoids residing in the city like the plague!

Suprised your Democratic bosses allow you to us the word GOD in your posts.  That's very risky.  Might hurt your votes when you run.

How about God blessing the homeowners struggling to keep their homes because of the McC increasing taxes and making the homeowners pay the taxes of the millionaires downtown?

Huh?   How about the homeowners DV??????        You don't want to answer that do you!    You can't admit that homeowners are being taxed to death can you

So, are you going to buy a house now in the city and pay those ever increasing taxes?

Respectfully disagree.  This was a very close election. The Alliance Party has takena respectable first step in becoming the opposition party.  What happens next will depend not only on how Mayor McCarthy performs, but what the Alliance Party's successive steps are.

This was a huge victory for common sense and the working man -- not the rich robberbaron Nattering Nayboobs and anarchists that want to destroy the city .. The Alliance Party is a terrorist enterprise and needs to be routed out by the SPD, State Police and FBI if need be.. They are simply criminals for wanting to do to the city what terrorists would do -- starve it of its lifeblood and return to the Neanderthal ways of the GOP.

is it a victory for the working man who pays almost the highest property taxes in the country?

Is it common sense to make financially struggling homeonwers pay the property & school taxes of the millionaires downtown?

Is it a victory for a city to have property values plummeting beyond belief?

Is it common sense to reduce the TAXABLE tax base in a city

Of course, you will not actually answer a yes or no to those questions  You'll just keep up your babble about how those who actually look out for the taxpayers are negative.

Tell us what is positive about every increasing property taxes combined with plummeting home values and inability to sell ones house?

It was a valiant first strike. If the current 'leaders' keep increasing the taxes and ignore the poor shape the neighborhoods are in....well, next time might not be a close race.

In 4 years Vince Riggi will be the Mayor. McCarthy won't run again.
