I applaud the Mayor as a Godsend to our community --- he is making all the positive changes that he deems necessary and I will support whatever he believes to be the right thing to do.   If he chooses to round up and incinerate the racist Nayboobs of Negativism and Mavens of Morbidity -- then so be it.

It was the police department traffic office. That's not a police presence? It should have been made a full service SPD substation. But the joke acting Mayor is closing it sell to sell between $40,000 and $100,000. He said the City has several buyers? lol. Like the Mt Plesant fire house? Bethesda House or Inner City Ministry interested? This will sit empty like dozens of buildings on Albany St. Before the DEM morons imploded the City Albany St had a business district even a ski shop-where Roger Hull bought skis.

It's reported that this traffic office was nothing more then civilian workers. It was more like a home away from home so to say. There were never any cops there. And the 'civilian workers' are probably refusing to work in that dangerous area. Can't blame them.

However..............this shooting is yet another example of a city going to hell in a hand basket very quickly. And if McCarthy does win the election...............it will be DONE!

What the hell is DVR/SG talking about? the actor lied about jobs, law enforcement expertise and budgeting. Now the the election is over where is his degree from? The City is going to go the same way as Harrisburg and Camden. Hell in a DEM moron handbasket. City property owners should take the loss on their property and get out. These DEMS are picking at the same carcass for 37 years and there's nothing left to feast on.

Hopefully the new mayor will put the Police to better use by rounding up the GOP and finding as many things to charge them with as possible...... I can almost see the smile on the collective face of the community when they have all been imprisoned for life for crimes against Humanity.

Give it a rest DVR/GG/SB/SG. Vince Riggi knows who you are and will be the taxpayer watchdog for all of your insane spending schemes. Contain your mischief to planning more under water parks that will never be built.

The workers comp claims for muggings and drive-by shootings weren't covered apparently.

What positive changes?

Is increasing taxes on financially struggling lower income people a positive thing?
Is increasing fees on financially struggling lower income people a positive thing?
Is increasing property taxes in a city that has the highest taxes in the area and almost the highest taxes in the whole nation a positive thing?
Is making decisions that cause the continual plummeting of home values a positive thing?
Is continuing to exempt millionaires from paying property taxes buy making the financially struggling homeowners pay for the millionaires' property taxes a positive thing?
Is allowing department heads to continue to live outside the city and avoid paying the highest taxes a positive thing?
Is making wise crack remarks at citizens on live TV a positive thing?

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
