I predict that schenectady county will not build a new nursing home. why? Because the government does not want them in existence any longer. Not the way they operate today. Obamacare wants nursing homes to become 'medical homes' so to say.

The folks in nursing homes toady will be required to 'stay home' with home health aides and nurses to keep down costs.

The Gazetto has been its usual polenta over the County Home debacle. Yes, one solid article when Buhrmaster brought it up but no leadership. The DEM controlled LWV could learn from their Albany branch. They seem to understand that the taxpayer is maxed out and can't afford another Taj Mahal. We have enough Downtown.

It has nothing to do with the cost to the taxpayers. Since when did the government care about the overburdened taxpayers? NEVER!!

This is just a revamping of the medical system via obamacare. They have no choice!
