According to police in Schenectady, armed officers surrounded a car with three people inside acting suspiciously. The individuals refused to get out of the car when they were pulled over, so police called in back-up including a K9 unit.

I would like to know exactly what 'acting suspiciously' means? Police....any police.....do not have the right to ask anyone to get out of their vehicle without 'just cause'. They can NOT act on suspicion!

Were they speeding? Were they hanging a gun out of the window? Were they laughing? Law enforcement can not pull anyone over 'just because' they 'think' they can.

Looks like the gazetto is competing with the tu now. It's usually the tu that reports the scoop fair/balanced and first!

Tense Schenectady traffic stops leads to Queens man's arrest
Published 06:56 p.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2011

SCHENECTADY — A downstate man faces criminal charges following some tense moments Wednesday morning after patrol officers stopped a car and the occupants began acting suspiciously and refused to get out, according to police.

James Drew of Queens has been charged with a count of misdemeanor obstructing governmental administration in connection with the incident which occurred at State Street and Nott Terrace.

Police converged on the busy intersection and shut down some nearby streets after Drew, 35, and two other occupants of the Chrysler 300 refused to leave the car, according to city police spokesman Lt. Mark McCracken. He said the car was stopped about 10:30 a.m. for making an improper turn,

Some of the responding officers drew their guns when one or more of the occupants appeared to grab something from the back seat and try to conceal it, McCracken said. The trio eventually complied with police orders and were transported to police headquarters for questioning.

The other man in the car was questioned and released without any charges while the driver, a woman, was cited for a traffic violation, said McCracken.

Did they finally arrest MikeChristine, GrahamBonnet and Mobil Terminal ???????  It is about time.  Although in the case of these 3 terrorists, it would be better if the police shot first and asked questions later,

Now the dealers know where the red-line district begins and ends.

Dealing at State and Albany....no problem.

Dealing closer to Proctors...well, that is a no-no.

Keep it in the neighborhoods folks......

So what actually possessed them to pull this car over in the first place? And did they arrest this guy for drugs? Did he have a gun? All I am reading is that it was a simple 'traffic violation'. Since when is a citizen 'forced' at gun point to get out of their car because of a traffic violation???

Yes schenectady is a drug ridden city with rampant crime....but does that mean that everyone who takes a wrong turn will be forced out of their car at 'gun point'??

Really folks......this sounds more like the keystone cops! And remember....it may be you they do this to some day!! SCARY!!

Now that you've libeled my name, tell me exactly how I, or the other two conspirators named above are considered "terrorists"

(and be sure to be on the lookout for my attorneys letter, coming soon)
