"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Let's hope Carnival Bob doesn't take the 'plea deal' route for this one!

Obviously the hateful NNN and the rotten GOP has nothing better to do other then to make this a political pissing match and an attack on one of the finest gentlemen I know -- Mr. Carney.....In the history of the County there has been no finer D.A. He can't put EVERYONE in prison, although I know the Nattering Nayboobs would LOVE to jail all minorities and anyone who thinks and acts differently..

(yawn)

No one CARES about this, it is a tragedy -- NOT a political football -- and an act of God..God bless the family of the young lady. I am certain they would NOT want this to be used as a political tool.

How can a felon, convicted 2/2011, be driving around the City nine months later??

Convicted of strangulation...endangering the welfare of a child AND he has 10 suspensions on his drivers license yet breaks the law and drives anyway???

No wonder Schenectady is dangerous! If this man is was let go by the Schenectady Court System, who else is roaming the streets?

The City is negligent. If this man was put in jail where he belonged in February, this accident would never had happened. I am so sorry for this family and for the loss of such a bright girl.

ASK THE GAZETTE? You will get a 'YAWNNNNNN" just like out of dumbo's mouth. Abdicated thieir JOB and let the political class induct them into the inside a long time ago. Now they are PART of the problem, and REFUSE TO DO WHAT JOURNOS ARE SUPPOSED TO DO!

You can thank the judges and carnival bob who opt for plea bargains!! He slams raucci in the slammer with all the laws available including 'terrorist'.He couldn't get raucci outta schenectady with with his mouth shut to protect the 'guilty'. The rest he chooses 'plea bargian'.

SCHENECTADY
Documents: Suspect had history of drug use

BY STEVEN COOK Gazette Reporter
Reach Gazette reporter Steven Cook at 395-3122 or scook@dailygazette.net.

The man accused of striking and killing a Schenectady County Community College student with a car while high on drugs once told a state parole board he had used drugs and alcohol since his early teens.
The comments came in parole interviews in 2001 and 2002, a decade before Anthony Gallo allegedly killed 19-year-old Cassandra Boone as she crossed Erie Boulevard in November 2011.
Meanwhile, Gallo’s attorney questioned how prosecutors can prove that Gallo was under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash when they didn’t test his blood until the next day.
“That’s the first question,” defense attorney Paul Callahan said. “If the accident happened at around 7 at night and they didn’t take a blood test until 1 or 2 the next afternoon. … A lot can go into his system in 20 hours and a lot of stuff can come out.”....................>>>>...........................>>>>.............http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01300&AppName=1
