83% in now, and the Schenectady Mayor is within 100 votes.

With a Dem. vs. Rep. reg. ratio of 2-1 in favor of Dems. this wasn't supposed to be close for Mayor.   Regardless if Hull wins or loses it shows a considerable amount of Dem. defectors to the Hull camp.   It looks like the voters voted the issues-high taxes etc.   The heat has been turned up as far as where are the jobs/tax relief from the City and the Plex.   Hull will not concede and absentee ballots are to be counted with a definite recount according to local news.   If the Dems. had it "in the bag " with a 2-1 enrollment advantage, it never should of been this close.   This mere FACT of enrollment advantage with a count this close does send a message to whomever gets in-For the Dems. with the defections, what you are doing is not working,For the Rep/Alliance party, fix it.

Still Democrat controlled council.  Between McCarthy and Council taxpayers will get what they voted for and I don't think they will like it. What a bunch off dingbats.

Why don't we just change the name of Schenectady to Chicago

Interesting  I was one number when I got at the voting table and the number that showed up on the screen on the machine of how many voted was 21 votes less.

I was told this was because of the individuals who made mistakes and the person pointed to sealed envelopes.

I wonder if they are included in the first count?
