You keep forgetting one little fact Mr. Rocket Scientist.....
THE METROPLEX SPENT $100 MILLION TO LOSE JOBS IN THE COUNTY!!!
The DEMS threw away millions and brought NOTHING but a loss of jobs. That's blood on the DEMS hands ......
The GOP didn't have $100 million to spend, just the DEMS and from 2004 until the present and they've spent ALL the money and have nothing left to show...not one Barney's, not one Carl's....and a loss of 1,700+ jobs.

He saw the poll results. Bye Bye Goofy. Bye Bye Town morons. Glenville will be a sweep for the REPS {as usual}. The DEMS lied about "creating" jobs. They created jobs for themselves like 4 jobs for Gary McCarthy and 4 jobs for Diane Marco. They were caught by the Times Union and keep doing like. The worst is Leesa Perazzo who thinks taxes are too low and Proctor's needs more taxpayer money. She wants to run for Mayor in 4 years.

The Republicans are the ones who are doing the misleading -- so I will talk about it -- k ?   You are also peddling a bunch of lies designed to destroy the character of our fine candidates.   That is why Schenectadians are SICK of the Republican party --- you let assholes like Buchanan, Farley  and Surhada run the party and use the politics of personal destruction and negativism ..  NO ONE TRUSTS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN SCHENECTADY anymore.

You have a tax delinquent at the top of your ticket.  I think that's hilarious.  The guy has a nice resume, but he can't manage money.  That's a problem for a guy running for Supervisor.  Especially when he donated THOUSANDS to his party,  but couldn't pay his taxes.

Well who would you suggest mcGoofy?  The best part about him was that he knew it was important to go to Occupy Albany event.  Bad thing--he never brought the camera.  Dems weren't smart enough to show up down there.

The FACT is that Schenectady County was losing jobs for 40 years under the GOP controlled County Legislature ---   ALCO began lay offs in the late 1950's and was completely closed by 1970,  GE was laying off workers in waves from the 1970's onward,   major retailer like Barney's, Wallace's and Carl's all closed under the GOP leadership.

One does not have to be a rocket scientist to comprehend that 3,000 or 4,000 new jobs is NOT going to be enough to replace  almost 50,000 jobs lost during the GOP's control of the County Legislature from the late 1950's to the early 2000's.

you cant count GE and the shake down by the unions and by the DEMS and GE leaving now can you?

we cant count street sweepers and tree grate carriers or lotto counters/filers or DSS workers as created jobs......

Here's another fact for y'all. The DEM weekly Metroland has endorsed ROGER HULL.  "We also feel that Schenectady could use a break from Acting Mayor Gary McCarthy and his self touted 3 decades in government and politics"! ROTFLMAO!! All the DEMS are jumping the sinking ship.

You are correct. I looked it up and it's true!!!

Schenectady Mayor: Roger Hull (R)

When Roger Hull was president of Union College for 15 years, there we times when we questioned his commitment to Schenectady. But Hull’s early support of both Schenectady 2000 and Metroplex signaled a realization that the college’s fate was intertwined with the city’s. Hull left Union six years ago, but stayed in the Electric City; he’s genuinely engaged with the city and its problems. We also feel that Schenectady could use a break from Acting Mayor Gary McCarthy and his self-touted three decades in government and politics.

What is wrong with McCarthy? The two DEM papers BOTH endorsed Roger Hull. McCarthy's support is limited to City unions and connected contractors. Some smart City Hall insiders have already started to reach out to the Alliance Party. The entire corrupt DEM house is imploding.

I don't think they are corrupt.  Better word is inept.  Kind of like Al Jurzynski.  But time for them to go just like it was for Rev. Al.  McCarthy, Paolino, the whole lot need to get out of City Hall.

Yes, it is perfectly fair to count BOTH the GE jobs and any public sector jobs -- the GE jobs left while the GOP controlled the County Legislature and a job is a job is a job.

GE sent it's jobs to China

The FACT is that the GOP was in control of the County Legislature during the decades (the last 4 decades of the 20th century) that Scheenectady lost jobs and tax rates soared.   The Democrats gained control of the County Legislature 8 years ago and have been turning things around  ...  a lot has been accomplished ... a lot more still needs to be done --------------- and the voters have resoundingly given the Democratic majority on the County Legislature a mandate to keep WORKING TOGETHER to PRODUCE RESULTS.
