They can raise the special district fees WAY up and steal that money for payroll, as has been demonstrated this week! They can also vote to OVER RULE THE TAX CAP. |

But there is nothing stopping them from charging fees just like the city does to get around the 2% cap.
McGarry plans to abolish the police department and replace it with nothing ... and tear up civil service contracts ... and pretty much shut the town down. DelGallo doesn't know what he plans to do until his puppet-masters Bob Godlewski and the $300 an hour Republican hatchet-man stick their hand up his backside and let him voice words. Thankfully, the Re-Unite Rotterdam Team has a plan to reign in spending, expand the tax base through economic development and to do so in a manner that does NOT add any burdens to the tax payers. |

They are the burden to the taxpayers. And the top of the ticket is the BIGGEST burden. He's a double dipping tax delinquent. |

Quoted Text
Tax warrants and liens
A tax warrant is a legal action against you and creates a lien against your real and personal property.
What happens
the warrant is a public record stating that you owe taxes to New York State we have the right to collect your debt through a levy, income execution, and seizure and sale of property the warrant is filed with your local county clerk's office and the NYS Department of State the action may show up on your credit report making it more difficult for you to get a loan or buy and sell property
What to do next
pay the bill in full
Once you pay your bill in full, we will notify the Department of State and the County Clerk. This will show that the tax warrant is satisfied and remove the lien against your property.
Search for warrants and liens at:
NYS Department of State Warrants Child Support Enforcement Warrants
Child support warrants and liens
call 518-485-6820
write:
NYS Dept. of Taxation and Finance
Child Support Enforcement Section
Post Office Box 5350
Albany, New York 12205-0350
Selling property - If there's a lien on property you want to sell, you must pay the debt in full with guaranteed funds. We can then issue a Notice of Pending Warrant Satisfaction. Most title companies accept this as proof the lien will be removed.
Bankruptcy and tax warrants - We stop collection against people who file for bankruptcy. You may continue to receive statements of your tax liabilities. If you have questions about how your bankruptcy affects the tax warrant call 518- 457-3160.
Credit reports - We don't report tax warrants to credit reporting agencies. However, warrants are a matter of public record. If you believe incorrect information is on a credit report, you may dispute it with the credit reporting agencies. The major credit bureaus are:
Equifax - 1 800 685-1111 Experian - 1 888 397-3742 TransUnion - 1 800 916-8800
Your rights - It is important for you to understand your rights during the collection process. We encourage questions at any time. You may call the number provided in your notice.
You may have someone represent you - Most taxpayers resolve their differences with us on their own. If you prefer to authorize someone such as a tax preparer or family member to work with us, they will need to file the appropriate form. See Designate a representative to find the appropriate form.
To ask questions or pay a bill
call the number on the notice you received if you do not have your notice, call 518-457-5893 enter the taxpayer ID number For income tax, this is your social security number, and for businesses it's generally your federal employer identification number

I am pretty sure that I was speaking about the LIES that suggest that somehow taxes will go up double-digit if the Democrats are elected ---- TAXES CAN NOT GO UP MORE THAN 2%.
The Sheriff Department overtime was budgeted for $500K and he obliterated that budget. It appears he may have issues paying his personal taxes on time also. What makes you think he has the ability to keep the tax increase under the 2% cap? Is it just because he's a Democrat? History tells us that he may have trouble managing a budget, especially one that leaves little room for error, in an age that caps tax increases at 2%. Can Buffardi do it? You can't continue to budget by raiding the special taxing districts, that is a gimmick, and I'm not ever sure it's legal. It's definitely fiscally UNSOUND in the long run. But Democrats aren't looking past November 8th, and it's apparent they were willing to sacrifice the WHOLE town as they attempt to scratch and claw their way into power. It's disgusting!! |

I have absolute confidence in Mr. Buffardi's ability to run the town and handle its finances.
As for rumors about financial issues -- I have heard NUMEROUS rumors about Mr. Del Gallo and know for a fac t that he has stiffed a lawyer and a businesses with debts incurred during the 2009 campaign.
McGarry tries to come across like a nice guy but he lies to hide his real intentions -- and it was either him or an associate who trespassed onto private private property late last night - to illegally place a campaign sign on public property - and in the process needlessly frightened 2 senior residents of the town. If he tries trespassing again tonight -- he may end up with a back side full of buckshot. |

The difference is, Buffadi's tax warrant and overtime budget isn't rumor, it is documented FACT. DelGallo may have stiffed a lawyer, but Buffardi screwed the taxpayer with excessive overtime, double dipping, and a failure to pay his taxes on time. How much did tax and finance have to spend in unnecessarily tracking down Mr. Buffadi to collect his taxes? Hasn't Harry Buffardi cost the taxpayers enough? |

One big difference here....Bufarti's tax warrant is NOT a rumor!!! Just ask the 'competent' NYS Dept of Tax and Finance......k? |

Two years ago, the Democrats put up DelGallo and sold him to the residents as an "successful business owner" who is going to run the town "like a business". Now, two years later, the Democrats are TRASHING DelGallo, and in his place running the furthest thing from a successful businessman, and are running a double dipping, tax delinquent lifetime bureaucrat against him. I think the Democrat Party has trouble finding and vetting candidates. |
