and the nayboobs haven't done anything proactive to help their city out either  .. do you see these malcontents at neighborhood clean-ups ?    do you see these whiners actually DO something other than flap their gums?  NO

I dont have to clean up your neighborhood...you do.....

I work with someone that lives on Stanley St....their landlord TOOLSIE or TOOLSEY, hasn't fixed their oven, fuze/electricity(everytime they use microwave the fuze blows and fridge goes out)...they had
to wait 3 or 3 days for it to be fixed and lost all food.....that's for $900/month....

sooooo, nope not gonna clean up the sh*t leaders mess.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Of course the he-she monkey believes him-her self too high and mighty to actually berak a sweat and help his-her community.  That is why he-she is the biggest piss-ant of them all.

It is time to break out the tasers and water cannons and rubber bullets --- and drive the nayboobs out of town.

This one is interesting.  I wonder if it was in the training about whether or not a person trapped in a car should be tasered or not.  I think it might be hard making the point that tasing this guy was necessary.

Man dies in Montgomery County after being subdued with Taser
By Justin Jouvenal
A Silver Spring man died while in the custody of Montgomery County police Tuesday after he was subdued with a Taser, according to the department.

Delric T. East, 40, of the 14300 block of Bel Pre Drive, became combative as rescue teams were attempting to remove him from a car wreck on Route 29 near Briggs Chaney Road around 10:20 p.m., police said.

The car had run into a barrier separating the roadway’s north- and southbound lanes.

The rescue team requested police assistance, acccording to police. The officers attempted to remove the man from the car, but he continued to resist and they used a Taser on him, police said.

The man was transported to the hospital, where he died around 11:40 p.m., according to police.

A vial of suspected liquid PCP was found in the car, police said, and a passenger in the told police East had taken PCP before the collision.

The circumstances of the man’s death are still under investitgation, according to police. The cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The four officers — Officer David Courtemanche, Officer Michael Putman, Officer Eric Hammelton and Sgt. Jeffrey Divers — have been placed on administrative leave, police said.

This item has been updated.

I think the "acting" Mayor was in the birth canal to long.

If these hit the streets without proper training and instructions expect abuse of them. To many officers still believe tasers make people obedient and able to comply with demands when that is not the case. The first case of misuse seen the people need to demand they be pulled.

First -- my neighborhood is quite clean.

Second -- you cite an example of LANDLORD NEGLECT and then blame the city leaders ... LANDLORD NEGLECT has happened for years -- regardless of whic party controlled the Mayor's Office ..... blame the damn greedy absentee landlords NOT the mayor and council for that.

In an overtaxed/fees driven city such as Sch'dy, no one should be expected to carry the weight of a managements responsibility to provide services that have been paid for by said taxes/fees.   Surely not to make a PAID employees job any easier then it may be already.   No one pays for a motel room while vacationing, expecting to" adopt" the right to wash the bedding, vacumn the room ), and make the bed before one checks out.   We refuse to "adopt" an island, street, curb, or missing tree grate.

Couple of facts

It wasn't until Acting Mayor took over that police were given the authority to use tasers.

No one is issued tasers without training.

All the taser units have cameras.

The mentally ill subjects were armed with knives, which was an important fact omitted by a poster.

Tasers are not a replacement for deadly force.  They may be used in lieu of deadly force if it can be done safely.

Your knowledge of the taser use should be expanded more on this board.   You seem to have a keen knowledge of the specifics.    Perhaps you could enlighten us more in a complete way so all viewers here can know once and for all, and all be on the same page, in the understanding of their use: safe/required distance, when should be used, training methods, and the like.   Any further info. would be appreciated.    For instance was unaware they came equipped with a camera.   A question:   With the camera attached to the tasers, are those images ever made public to justify an officers use of the taser in him/her defense and to exonerate them of any wrong doing?   And on the flip side are those images made public when the officer is found in error of their use?   Thanks in advance.
