Channel 6 is going to report about the state returning some Health department offices to Albany after moving them to Troy.   THe reason is because the existing state buidings have lots of vacant space while the state is paying money to lease other buildings.

So, since DOT went to Schenectady the same way, will it be next?   Since the state is paying money to lease that, will that department the next one to be moved back to Albanny.   Someone told me that office was on Wolf Rd where another office of DOT is now and that the building on Wolf Rd is more than half empty.   Sound logical, it's not like they have trucks and stuff there on State and Broadway.   THen that other office in the old Woolworth, that could move back to Albany too.    Maybe even the Lottery building?

speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

NYS is at a loss about the losses that keep up year after year after year.......I think the funneling goes to the piers and ports and floats out to sea.....or is in Tony Soprano's basement/stripclub

The state should set the example......or so you'd think! There is more waste at the state level it would make you sick! I love when the state gives the cities/towns/villages a tongue lashing on how they should cut spending and suggests consolidation...when in fact the state is the worse spending abuser of all!!

The leases were political, so it is possible Cuomo will want to make different deals. Pataki was behind much of that moving around, and he's long gone.

Working together works!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

not just political but the obvious ineptness of the state leaders to keep real jobs.....real estate downstate is one thing....but upstate we get screwed.....it's just $$ changing hands to grease the
wheel.....

they can move government jobs all over all the while trying to 'cover' the unemployment rates in each area......

calling an elephant by a different name doesn't change the fact that it's THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM........

DISAPPOINTMENT....DISSENTION...DISIDENTS.........
