We need a leader with a brain and backbone, not a party follower that would rather put the needs of the City residents second to the wants of a certain political party.

PS: all you need to do is check out Roger Hull's homepage. His entire resume is posted and it is QUITE impressive!

Why would anyone think a college president was supposed to be "creating jobs"? I wish the politicians, from the national level on down, would drop thatstupid catch phrase. It really means nothing. Civilian Conservation Corps jobs might qualify as government created jobs. We aren't talking about bringing that back. People I talk to, who live and vote here, are more interested in the same issues I am, I'm finding. Taxes, crime, blight (lack of services).
"Job creation" is a smokescreen. It only fools a few gullible people, most of whom don't vote here anyway.

Does anyone know how big of a budget Hull oversaw as President of Union College? Also- what was the deficit when he came in and what was the surplus when he left?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I don't know the size of the budget, but the surplus and deficit questions are good ones. I know that he oversaw many capital projects. That should haveprovided some good experience which could translate well into government service. IF he did a good job of it, that is.
