The main problem with them is they have 30 groups promoting 30 different beliefs, if you look at the NYC protests you have Liberals, conservatives, libertarians, communists, anarchists but no rallying point behind the movement. I'm all for them protesting but I can't take it seriously when they have no real common ground, some are promoting free market capitalism while some are promoting socialism. I think they are all against crony capitalism so maybe that will be a start to move forward from. One sign that stuck out in NYC was one that read "I Hate Stuff To", that pretty much sums up this movement

Henry, if you don't get it, then you don't get it.
The Bush Economic Meltdown hit every one in America... Everyone except the rich.  After an initial dip, the rich recovered their losses and continued to progress upward, at the expense of the middle class.
What you describe is an overall problem with almost all Americans... the 99% who are voicing many different problems, in an attempt to separate our Government, from the pockets of our corporations.

I get it.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

i went by at about 5:30.. pretty unimpressive. I looked  up washington ave at the intersection of washington and eagle st and saw more media than protesters. I think a lot of them went home after the rally at 5pm. i had an open helmet and could not even hear chanting. they better pick things up on saturday or there will be more birds in the park than protesters camping.

And hopefully vice versa, I wonder how many supported the government bailouts of our car companies and special treatment to those willing to play ball in the green movement.

A whole 100 smelly flea baggers walking around the Capitol? Great turnout for a protest about nothing. Hold the presses!

ALBANY -- The movement that began last month on Wall Street to protest the influence corporate money has on government has
reached the state's seat of political power.

this is where they tell their parents "IT SUCKS, I'm coming for your pension 401K. I dont care what they told you about letting your money work for you or the SS guaranteed, I'm not done breast feeding and your walk on the capital only
got to here, so here I come, give it to me, including the credit cards."......

it IS more generational than not.......

the love love love...then..the 'just do it'.....and now the 'What the 'Fu(k are they called'......looking for a 'fix'.....I agree it's not right.,....but more to the effect of the changing and moving of VALUE from one system to another.....PAY ATTENTION
it's BIGGER than your 401k/pension.......IT'S THE INTERNET AND GLOBALISATION......HEEEEEEELLLLLO FOLKS......don't tell me none of you didn't think this......?

the Tea Party was 'step 1'..........our world IS changing....AND WHAT IS THE VALUE IN IT?????? Beuhler Beuhler Beuhler?.......ANYONE......????????????????????????????????????????????????????

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

One girl I heard on radio is mad she can't get into college. Bad evil corporations to blame. I think the corporations should go on strike. No donations, no underwriting, no hiring, no production, no opening, no nothing. Just for a month.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Good to see the older generations that made this mess complaining about the younger generations that are trying to clean it up... The baby boomers are have screwed this country raw and it will take generations to recover from their actions.

OA must be desperate for people to welcome tea partiers.

They don't...and they are obviously desperate...but their desperation is derived from the tea partiers themselves...a desperate
attempt by the left to reverse the highly effective political tidal wave created by the Tea Party. No doubt this guy is just another one
of the stooges commonly used in these phony "protests", always funded by the same rich people they are pretending to scorn...in this
case George Soros...who is famous for funding this type of idiocy to promote his own agenda of communism and world government.

These people are nothing more than paid amateur actors who have done a poor job in learning their lines....they can't even keep their
stories straight while they try to figure out exactly what they're protesting. The actor in this footage isn't a tea partier at all...his real
role is to dupe idiots like Roxy into believing that tea partiers agree with these mindless slobs in an effort to legitimize their
"movement" by associating it with the success of the Tea Party they have been painfully witnessing. Poor bastards...they don't even
know that other people's money to which they think they are entitled will never make its way to them because the real goal is to
eventually put essentially all of everyone's money into the pockets of the handful of the richest people on earth...which of course
includes George Soros.

Yeah, they want to clean it up, by getting and demanding everything for free, because they-like you-are ENTITLED TO IT! How the hell old do you think I am? Holy crap! I am NOT a boomer.  I am just not a beggar- I am reality. I am a doer. I do not wait upon my government for anything...they are merely in my way...

And you think it wasn't a staff member of the show calling in?
Limbaugh, and Beck have already fully admitted that the only "calls" they allow, are from their own staff, because anybody else might actually call them on their bullcrap.

Not unlike the propaganda fest that was "Point-Counterpoint", where both "debaters" were on the same side.
When they had John Stewart on as a guest, the show was cancelled the very next day.

I believe the young people are upset because they see their earnings and savings evaporate though taxation or inflation in order to pay for the incredible greed and debt the boomers ran up.  The boomers want their SS/Medicare  paid for AND their retirement savings preserved by bailing out the banks that holds their money, and all on the backs of their kids and grandkids.  The boomers passed the debt that paid for their excesses onto the next generation.  Americans are realizing, that even if you have the same job your parents had a generation ago, your standard of living is about to go down performing that same job.

Americans are sick of being on the hamster wheel.  I think Americans are trying to figure out how to slow down and to keep the bankers and corporations from driving them into debt just to live.

Yet again, another baseless accusation

Proof or STFU

No, Reid Shepard from 810 WGY went down to the Occupy Albany yesterday and interviewed her and it played on the news segment over and over on the half hour. It wasn't on any syndicated show.
