Those DEMS can't figure out what to do???????

ROFLMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ANSWER is right in front of them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

REMOVE all those tax exemptions from their super rich cronies, make them pay the FULL amount of the taxes, and that WILL result in a lower tax RATE on the homeonwers AND in this instance a lower tax RATE WILL result iin loweer tax BILLS for the HOMEOWNERS

Stop making sense. They would rather not create jobs and not solve the pit bull issue. Call your postal carrier like the law enforcement "expert' say. Vote again for McCarthy and his four dwarfs.

The City needs to find ways to increase fines for the dirtbags and scum who fail to take care of their properties.....railing that are missing can cost a life. Weeds are unsightly -- just because Tiberio is a thug and refuses to pull his weeds doesn't mean he should get a pass. Fine him and shut him down if he refuses to comply....There are plenty of fine First Responders who I know that are ready and willing to jail a thug Republican......the PBA itself has endorsed the fine Democratic Team because they KNOW the the DEMOCRATS are for law and order while the REPUBLICANTS want DISORDER AND CRIME......after the election we might see some interesting things..

1.   Many homeonwers cannot afford to fix things up, they are paying the taxes for the mllioniare in additon to their own.

2.   The city does have fines for the real dirtbags, but then when the real dirtbags don't fix up and clean up, the city has to do it, then it gets added to the tax bills of the real dirtbags, and the real dirtbags are big time tax delinquents, and guess what....YOUR BUDDY DEMS REWARD the tax delinquent dirtbags via bestowing tens of thousands of money on them.   Just go look ast the FACTS about the CITY TAXPAYERS who paid off the delinquent tax billl of the infamous two who owned that hotel foster building.   Metroplex took a WHOPPING QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS of the TAXPAYERS' MONEY and gave it to those dirtbags.   AND then ON TOP OF THAT, Plex used taxpayer money to pay off the delinquent tax bill!!!!!!!!    With the condition of that building, absolutely for sure, those dirtbags racked up tons in fines for property problems   And then, since those dirtbags caused over a mllion dollars worth of damage to that building and failed to fix it, guess who is going to pay????????    THE TAXPAYER HOMEONWERS !!!!!!

And tell us, because these dirtbags were behind on their taxes on that foster buiding IN ADDITION TO NUMEROUS NUMEROUS properties throughout the city, did YOUR BUDDY DEM SOCIALISTS deduct money from the purchase price of the foster building the amount of money to cover all the deinquent taxes????? NO NO NO.    These dirtbags made a killing off the taxpayer COURTESY OF THE DEM CRONY SOCIALISTS in the city.

3.   By the way, what have your dem buddy socialists done about Popolizio's buidling that was on McClellen & Eastern?   Have your dem buddies seized his bank account in order to pay back the taxpyaers??????

Just a small sample

They've already done it to the homeowners, so why not?  Oh yeah...That's right, they know they have the homeowners trapped since they destroyed the city and eliminated all the equity in residential property.  Homeowners aren't going ANYWHERE.  Homeowners would have to hit the lottery to get out of that city.  It's a sad state of affairs.  But if you want to open a business?  The Dems will give you grants, tax exemptions, PILOTS, and even their daughters as long as you show up to the next Democrat fundraiser with checkbook in hand.

It's a Reign of Terror for the homeowners. You can't sell your home: even with a good price, the taxes will double any mortgage payment, families don't want their kids in the City schools and the high-profile crime each week isn't quite a good selling point.

The DEMS have created a blackhole for the taxpayers and treat them like an ATM. Taking money whenever and for whatever reasons they please - even when it's fiscally irresponsible.

Voting McCarthy in will not change anything. There are no DEMS willing to stand up for the homeowners as they chant the mantra 'working together works'. You need to start working for the people who elected you and stop doing what the party tells you.

Just as happy as I, as an overburdened taxpayer are, to pay.

Big difference, I'm not a leach in the City. I don't get Metroplex funds or 2 STAR exemptions. I pay for the schools, I pay for the police, I pay to let the City Council keep their great insurance benefits...yet no one in the Council has enough courage to stand up to the Downtown businesses and say that they are decimating our taxbase??

Where the hell else does the Council think the blackhole in the taxbase is coming from???How do they think those businesses get services by without paying for them??? Are they that stupid?

10.1    Use of Sales for Appraisal Purposes

A transfer of real property may be used for appraisal purposes when it does not have any of the following characteristics. Where examples are given, they are intended to be illustrative and are not inclusive of all possibilities.
1. Sale between relatives or former relatives

2.Sale between related companies or partners in business

3.One of the buyers is also a seller

4.A government agency or lending institution is a party to the sale

5.The Deed is not warranty or bargain and sale

6.Less than fee interest is conveyed

Examples:
- Life Estate

- Seller retains mineral or other rights

7.Sale of a business is included in sale price

8.Other Unusual Factors

Examples:
- Sale from a descendant's estate

- A party to the sale is a not-for-profit corporation

- The conveyance involves subsidized housing

- Forced sale, such as foreclosure or auction, whether due to nonpayment of taxes, bankruptcy, divorce, or judicial order

- Substantial personal property, if the amount of personal property is not contained on the RP5217 form

- Sale of common area for condominium or homeowners' association

The City DEMS are brain dead. They can't handle even minor opposition and have totally imploded. All they can do is rip down opponents signs, harass taxpayers and lie about job creation. The entire corrupt DEM house has collapsed. Can't believe the number of DEM committee people with Hull, Riggi and Dukes signs.

My signs have been taken at an alarming rate. A citizen came to my door last Saturday (I totally forgot and answered it with my hair in curlers). He told me that he was there to get another sign because mine had been taken from his property.

There are signs on city owned property all over the place. The city owns more than 700 properties. The burnout next to the cemetery on Albany Street (my husband is buried there) sports McCarthy and council signs. If they allow it there, they should allow it for everyone.

I have more signs so if anyone can, please take some. They are in front of my house in the doorway. I thank everyone who has set up a sign for me. Its been tough.

City set to adopt new budget with only one change
McCarthy: City likely to take on wastewater plant

BY KATHLEEN MOORE Gazette Reporter

The City Council has thrown in the pencil.
On Friday afternoon, the council will adopt the budget after making only one change — adding $10,000 for ReTree Schenectady to buy trees. The change won’t affect the estimated tax increase or the increases in city fees.
Residents castigated the council for not cutting from the budget.
“You have to find something to cut. This can’t be the perfect budget,” said Vince Riggi, who is running for City Council.
Harry Brand told the entire council to resign, saying they should refuse to give raises and other benefits to the unions during contract negotiations.
“You have the backbone of a wet tissue,” he said.
Mayoral candidate Roger Hull demanded that the city create a 5-year financial plan to see exactly how the decisions in the 2012 budget will affect Schenectady in the long term. Acting Mayor Gary McCarthy said the plan was available on the state comptroller’s website.
Later, Finance Commissioner Ismat Alam said the last plan on that site is from 2007. Her current 5-year plan has not been updated in several months because variables have been changing so quickly, she said.
That plan is an internal document that is not released to the public, she added.
    Hull wasn’t impressed.
“We are marching, sometimes lemming-like, toward a fi nancial cliff,” he said.
Resident Pat Zollinger told the council to start working on the budget much earlier in the future.
“It is obvious the council does not have enough time to look at the budget,” she said, calling for a Sept. 1 deadline for the mayor to submit the proposed budget to the council. Currently, the deadline is Oct. 1. .........................>>>>.............................>>>>...........................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01001&AppName=1

Adding 10K to Re-Tree and taking on the Wastewater plant which would ADD 21 more City employees. Yep, CLASSIC budget 'cuts' by our trusted leaders.

Why do we need more trees? Are the pit bulls running out of places to do their business. Why don't we just call it Re-FEE Schenectady.
