Both the new Bicentennial Park and the multi-generational community center proposals are alive and well. Whether it is phone calls from residents or meeting them in and around the town, I am hearing nothing but overwhelming support for these two proposals. The residents want parks and community facilities that they can enjoy. I have no doubt that within the next 8 years - we will break ground on both projects and at least part of the park will be completed and all of the community center by January 1, 2020.
The big (in more ways than one) cheerleader for increasing taxes on homeonwers really needs to move to a socialist country. How about Greece, did ya know that more than half of the working population there works in the public sector. High taxes and tell us what is happening there? Gee.
Naturally, as one who does not pay taxes--you will cheer for increaisng taxes on the homeonwers because you think you are just going to go through live sponging off the taxpayers. Get off your duff and get as job, someday if you ever make enough to buy a house, then you'll see what it's like to try to pay ever increasing taxes. And it's more difficult for families---something else about which you'll never experience
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Greece is a lovely country by I already own some very nice PROPERTIES in America --- and I pay property taxes on all of those properties.
As for family, I have an AWESOME extended family and we take care of each other .. all of the nieces are doing quite well and so are my 2 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces .. and all of the cousins and cousins children.
Maybe in your demented world, you think it is cool to go around attacking others who did better than you in their investments and can afford to spend the last half of their life volunteering time in service of the Church and their community .. and in your sick twisted mind, you think it is cool to attack others whose life story you know NOTHING about. I don't have to apologize to you for not being married or not having children -- I am sure that my late fiancee and I would have had a wonderful family of our own -- if she had lived.
