Dear DVR,
So if you are filing a complaint against the illegal signs in the town, that will include Angelo's sign that is still up from the LAST election cycle, right? I mean, he is not running for State Assemblyman in this year's election, right? So why is his sign still up on the barn by I-88? It's been up there for over a year.
I know he is smart and since he is a county lawmaker and wanted to be a state lawmaker, he knows he is in violation of the law. For convenience someone posted the law on this site.
Please make sure to include that blatant violation in your complaint. It's a biggie. What do you think his fine should be?

I am only concerned about those signs placed on TOWN PARK PROPERTY .. if you wish to file a complaint about other signs ... then go ahead be my guest. BTW -- you will probably get the same response that I got -- the town authorities will only enforce the code if they are directed to by the Supervisor -- and since he is the biggest abuser of the code .. that isn't likely to happen. |

I think we should have Rotterdam's finest all come in for a few hours of overtime to get rid of these illegal signs. I mean cmon people who really gives a rats behind where these signs are. Our whole town is infested with them. |

All the democraps made threatening calls to the owner and he was upset. I know this because he told me. They made threats of a boycott and told him they would do everything they could to shut him down. Just as Ron said. He isn't hiding the fact that he plays bully politics, and that is refreshing! This is the gang of thugs Marymagdelene and Todd Koza and Satanbarbera, and other former Republicans are backing. |

Joe DO NOT put words in my mouth. I do not approve of any tactics such as bullying to make someone take down their signs. I believe EVERYONE has the right to put up their signs where they want on private property and another thing, I vote for the person NOT the party. |

 Strong wind-no? Another new low. In the City, a Vince Riggi billboard was up for one whole day before the working together idiots knocked it over. Yes, the property owner has the plate number. They complain about illegal signs while they remove and knock down opponents signs. |

Most businesses will not allow political signs on their property because of the backlash. Guess they never told the gun shop owner that he was treading on thin ice by using his right to freedom of expression and free speech on the property he owns and pays taxes on!
Unfortunately or fortunately, however you look at it......folks and business owners in rotterdam and beyond have gotten wind of this latest attempt to strong arm a small business owner and are PI$$ED.

I never called the business. I did call town hall about the signs on town park lands and the 2 illegal banners (one at 5 corners and another in another part of town). And if the signs illegally placed on town park lands are not down by Saturday --- I will take matters into my own hands. |
