What a waste of bandwidth

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Wow, I feel dumber after having read this thread. Anyone calling Obama Hitle is a moron or insane. Anyone calling GWB Hitler is also a moron or insane. Neither of them, nor any past American president has ever been anything close to Hitler. If you think otherwise perhaps you should talk to a mental health professional.

ESPN announced Thursday that the network had permanently severed ties with Hank Williams Jr. after he publicly compared President Barack Obama to Adolph Hitler.

Just think what would happen if Jesse Jackson called NYC Hymietown in this political climate today!
Oh wait, he's a liberal, so nothing would happen.

If Jackson were a spokesman for ESPN, the same thing would happen.  He'd get canned.

Bullshit... This crap comes out the mouths of the cast of the view at least once a week, but ABC does nothing.
WHY? the view is a successful show. Success=money.

As far as Jackson, he would just extort ESPN with the race card, just like he has done to companies like Toyota when he comes calling for "donations' to the Monochrome coalition.

The cast of the View are there for content and opinion, much like what gets spewed on O'Reilly, or Hannity.
Sports Illustrated reports that Tiger Woods lost $22Million in lost endorsements.
Unless Hatin' Hank had a contract with ESPN, his mouth took dollars out of his wallet.

NPR, ABC, and the rest of the MSM are just arms of the fascist Democrat Party.  One thing I can say about Fox and 'right wing' media is they don't play the speech police and intimidate and terminate people for comments that do not meet their ideological views.

I won't be surprised to hear that Monday Night Football loses viewers for the next few weeks in response to ESPN's decision.  Football viewers are a pretty conservative bunch, HENCE Hank Williams and not Lady Gaga doing the opening theme song.  That's what leads me to believe this was an executive decision to appease the Administration and not a business decision.  Because honestly, the majority of the Monday Night Football audience isn't offended by Hank Williams comment.  Especially when listened to in context, Hank was using hyperbole to contrast, he didn't call Obama Hitler.

And Hank Jr is on Espn to sing and play, NOT speak, so what's your point?
As far as Tiger Woods, I didn't say black, I said liberal..Tiger is more of a republican on the issues.
In the end, this won't hurt Hank one bit...in fact, it may actually cause an increase in Concert draws.

Hitler was probably a better musician despite the fact that the only instruments he played were the kazoo, and bongo drums.

His rendition of "Babaloo", was a classic.

so 6 or 7 people will show up at the country bar in some small town in Montana -- the next time Hank Williams  does a tour --- rather than just the bartender and the barmaid
