It's almost winter people.   McCarthy will be asking people to take their snowblowers and shovels out into the city streets to clear the streets of snow.   That's his next quest for volunteerism in the city.

ROFLMAO

OK, folks, I just made that up, I'm joking.   Well, at least I hope I'm joking.   Please keep McCarthy away from reading this.

However, this joking comment does speak greatly of how McCarthy and the dems just bleed the taxpayers dry financially just as long as the millionaires downtown are exempt from paying taxes

No, being a good neighbor is doing it before it is requested / mandated by the authorities / government, just because it needs to be done, and wuld be easier for one to do it than the other.

Oh, now he wants more services to the city taxpayers to be cut, expect them to shovel the roads, just so the millionaires downtown can get more money in their pockets, while their own employees are getting paid so little that they need public assistance subsidy

After he solves the pit bull and graffiti issues. And then creates 4,000 new jobs-lol. If a light is on in City Hall it means the janitor forget to shut it off.

This brings up a great idea.  In City Hall, why not install motion sensors in each of the offices.  If the lights go out, it means we're saving money.  If the lights go out while someone is in the office "working," then they can go home, without pay, as it shows that they're not actually doing any work.  We'll save on salary and heating / lighting costs.

A good idea would to give tax breaks to anyone who volunteers to do their street. If someone has a plow and does the street all winter cut or eliminate that persons school or property taxes

Sorry, can't afford to give anybody tax breaks, unless you're a multi-million dollar corporation or you're going to move a business within the county and bring at least 5 jobs to the city.

Pat Z should really bring this up during POF.   She would be able to find just the right words for use in a half joking question.

Truly it was meant to be a joke, but this constant cutting services that the taxpayers pay for, then expecting taxpayers to do the manual labor as volunteers, and all the while giving more to the millionaires downtown.

Make those millionaires downtown clean the parks and shovel the streeets.

The taxpayers pay taxes and then volunteer to work in food patries.   How about the greedy millionaires and their dem benefactors run these food panties.

Philip Morris should open that catering place, and the Hiltons should open up the dining room at the Hilton, and Marscella should move the applances all up to the wall, and the three of them should put on free Thanksgiving dinner for the lower income people....OH YEAH, ON THANKSGIVING DAY itself!   And Mallozzi's and Paul Mitchell can buy all the turkeys.   Oh, of course the savage lady who jacked up the taxes on the homeowners should also leave her family on T-day too and volunteer.

MC, you forgot one of the tax-grabbers.  Neil Golub could have his family donate all the turkeys and the fixings.  Maybe they'll use the Mallozzi's ovens.

The turkeys are all sitting on the pathetic City Council. How about having them volunteer to clean graffiti or pick up droppings in the park? This including deputy jerk Tim Conway. They are too busy not creating 4,000 jobs {now 3,400 jobs} and not making City home ownership affordable. Competent government my arse. MC1 is right on and the State Comptroller's Fraud Unit should be brought in to see where the highest tax burden in the State is going.
