Ms. Marco has not been on the town board in 6 years -- I hardly think she knew then that she would be running for the office of Town Clerk in 2011.

And how did I vote in the last election when Hugh Farley was running?  You don't know, do you? Then, I guess you might as well shut off that conversation.  I bet we could have a nice little conversation between Hugh Farley and Paul Tonko as far as who had a non-taxpayer funded job last.

And as far as McGarry's job, he's got a couple, and the on that is taxpayer funded, the taxpayers actually get to VOTE on his salary, unlike others, look it up, it's called a school budget vote.

my point exactly.....but the budget guarantees their pensions/benefits......get it?....then they all fight over what is tossed to them via tenure.....they aren't kidding when they say they need teachers..
it's the future payouts that needs to be cut at the umbilica of the taxpayers......

preparation for the future without government guarantees should be taught in public schools along with latin......

Diane Marco can hardly be blamed for voting to raise the Clerk's salary -- it was horrendously low and it was a reflection of Mrs. Esposito's love for the Town that she worked for such a pittance.
