a whole system was set up to 'let your money work for you' and credit cards were doled out in the 100's in the 1970s.....so here we are after our 4 decade of mad mad mad money sex and we have transmitted a disease....we blame
wallstreet?....THESE FOLKS WEREN'T RAISED IN A VACCUM....

'go to college, you dont want a dumb job like mine'
'I need more dividends for my nest egg'
'dont worry, just pay other people to do stuff like that'

it's NOT just about wallstreet, it's not just about the leaders,,,,,it's in US......we allowed this 'roll in the hay'......now we line up with trebuchets because our 'lover' has scorned us.....how're those dividends? got and accountant yet?

are we ready to barter....because the next in line is true virtual value.....

test:

what is the product that google/yahoo/bing produce?

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

What do these kids think they are going to accomplish? What are they waiting for? Business is still going on as usual. Folks are still buying and selling. Not one thing has changed nor will it!

But here is my #1 concern? Being camped out for a month....where do they go to the bathroom?

Occupy Wall Street’s message diluted by ‘protest du jour’ crowd

Last Wednesday [Oct. 5] I had the opportunity of going down to the Occupy Wall Street protests and experience the 99 percent fi rsthand.
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m quite liberal in my ideology when the top 1 percent is taking control of 42 percent of the financial wealth in the United States. I strongly agree with the ideas of the protest on raising taxes on the rich to actually see the wealth go into the pockets of those who spend it.
Truth is, the marginal propensity to consume by that 1 percent is far less than the middle and lower classes; in fact it’s almost 80 percent less. Not to mention that this same 1 percent doesn’t pay the same percentage of their income in taxes as the rest of us do. America has made us into consumers; getting the money into the hands of people who are [likely] to spend it is the best solution to catalyze the current economy.
This is what I was expecting from the protesters — a strong desire to take the economy into the hands of the people who make the wheel of the economy turn. I did find these people, but I found others as well. And while it added to the hype of the whole experience, it made me question what it was I was protesting.
I admire those who can stand up for what they believe, and I know there’s a lot of wrong things with the world today, but the foundation of the protest was cracked by people protesting just to protest, signs about hydrofracking and even one sarcastic bystander holding a sign requesting the government to legalize online poker.
I believe in the message of the protests, the ideals of the 99 percent, but we’re not going anywhere if we cannot all fi nd a common ground to push forward.

Man accused of exposing self to children arrested

SEATTLE -- A man accused of exposing himself to children at least five times across Seattle was arrested early Tuesday morning.

Seattle police say he was taken into custody at his Kenmore residence around 1 a.m.

Officers had been given a composite sketch of the suspect and detectives learned he had been at Westlake Park taking part in the Occupy Seattle protests.

The man is accused of exposing himself three times on Sept. 29 -- once in Crown Hill, once near Alki Beach, and a third time on Capitol Hill. Three days later, he was spotted at Pinehurst Playfield near Northgate, and then again on Oct. 3 at the Lakeside soccer field in North Seattle.

In one instance, the man allegedly approached two 13-year-old girls on swings, made a comment and was engaged in a lewd act when they turned to look, according to police.

The man was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Indecent Exposure

It is a "re-channel the sixties" party for most of them...When it gets cold and rainy and they catch pneumonia, they will start going home to Mommy garage where they have a bedroom and unlimited video games, (at age 27.)

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Graham seems so threatened by the Occupy Wall Street Movement.  Just kids right?
Going home to mom and their video games... how much of a threat could they be???

Yet Graham is quaking in his boots at the prospect of Free Progressive America!

You mistaking disgust and pity with fear. I am sad for young people that such a percentage of them have no life, no goal, only envy and angst. The Prozac generation is the reward the adults have reaped. It is just sad and pitiful. They aren't free to do anything but say "I want" or "I demand" or "Give me!" They are slaves to their own needs and demands, never seeing that to be or to accomplish is in their own hands. It is quite a pathos this young generation is afflicted with.

What's sad is that the 99%ers are protesting for the benefit of all Americans... even a reluctant 99%er like Graham.

I have work to do and taxes to pay and have been working since I was 12 years old. Hanging out in a park for weeks and months are very unproductive. I think the word you want is anti-climactic. That is what the experience is becoming. Why don't they have school or work? And if they don't have work, they why aren't they looking or making a job for themselves? I will tell you why- because your liberal baby boom gen has made this gen feel ENTITLED!

The cartoon begs the question... why is it Occupy Wall street and not Occupy Congress or Occupy the White house?

To 55birds post...Because most of the occupiers are misguided mush brains that have no idea why they are there, except to smoke dope and hopefully get laid in a sleeping bag in a filthy park.

Why aren't the compassionate 'progressive' occupiers donating their free time to help their community?  I'm sure there is a lot of charitable work to be done in their communities, yet they sit there and protest Wall St. and 'Greed', while wearing their designer jeans and talking on their smart phones.  What a compassionate bunch of progressives.  The streets in these occupiers’ home communities should be spotless and the soup kitchens and homeless shelters should be lined up with volunteers.  But no...They choose to go to their city centers and complain because they think deserve a higher standard of living.
