Police investigate shooting in Schenectady

Police are on the scene of a shooting near Duane Avenue and Hulett Street.
Schenectady Police say they got several calls for shots fired around 7:20 on Saturday night.
Police say a man was shot in the leg and was taken to Albany Medical Center.
No word on his condition tonight.
One person has been detained as part of the investigation, but police say it is not believed he is a suspect in the shooting.

It wasn't printed in the Gazette. It's not true. Crime is down in Schenectady. Just buy a copy of the People's Gazette and they'll tell you (or ask certain members on this board). |

I saw the gazette at the diner this morning and there was a little blurb about it in the middle of the paper somewhere.
