Looks like it was a head-bangers ball kinda Saturday night.   This one's a little mellow. Always liked this kind of stuff after a night/weekend/month of debauchery.

Ain't just me. Pretty sure that's the consensus 'round here.

Far as this thread goes, it started innocently enough, but after 7 pages, I'm hoping it becomes the largest non-political thread on the forum.  Life shouldn't be all doom and gloom ya know.

HAHAHA!!!!! You'll get none of that from me, although my musical tastes are pretty diverse.

Truth be known, Even though I try to stay apolitical, I'm finding more in common with the folks here who skew to right than I ever thought possible. Go figure.

I think the Hunter Thompson quote in my signature pretty says it all.

In the meantime, here's one for the hippies.

...well I also listen to a lot of Sinatra, Ella, Sarah, Duke, and cap it off with some George Winston. I play a little Debussy, Handle, Chopin etc for night music and when I am forced to listen to FM radio (which is rare, thank God)

Maybe we should revive this thread at Christmas time to decide what the best Holiday music is. I know a lot of people hate it, but as schmaltzy as it is, I love it for that one month! My Itunes holds some 3400 Christmas songs-yeah- over 14gb just in Christmas tunes- I know!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

REVIVE!!!!! heck by Christmas time I hope this thread has over 100 pages and is using so much bandwidth that the admin has to create a dedicated server just for it.

BTW I was thinking the same about the Christmas tunes. We'll do that.

What do you think a good start date is? The day after Thanksgiving? I wish there was a way to play sound files here, without the vids.

I do know how ya feel though. I hate the fact that the season gets pushed on us. I wouldn't set foot in K-Mart last year 'til after Thanksgiving 'cause they were setting up there Christmas stuff day after Labor day. My sister tell me BJ's has already done that this year.

I say start it on Black Friday, or you could do it the same day as the  Christmas  Holiday Parade in Schenectady.  After all, you wouldn't want the link to be taking people away from their on-line shopping on Black Friday.
