Drop in local crime mirrors state trend
Gang arrests help keep Schenectady numbers down

CAPITAL REGION — Local crime statistics followed figures statewide in the first six months of 2011, recording reductions in both violent and property crimes, according to new numbers out Monday.
Crime statewide dropped 4.4 percent. I guess if you set the bar that low...Saying crime is down in Schenectady is like saying casualty rates are down if Afghanistan.

Housing prices are not up. Unemployment is not lower. Property prices are pathetic compared to Saratoga County that isn't run into the ground by DEM morons building a new County home. Of course Saratoga also has a 2 party system. Got pit bulls?
