they also downsized and reorganized multiple times.....something our county/state government refuses to do......wouldn't want the TRUE unemployment numbers to show.....you know all those dumbass feelgood jobs just because....
make a law with a mandate and some dumbass job will show up for some poor fool looking for a government freebie retirement/healthinsurance.......

What do jobs in Niskayuna have to do with McCarthy's election in the City? I'm being serious here, the main plant in the City doesn't have 415 job openings, the Niskayuna location does. Are we saying that because GE is located in the City, all jobs associated with GE (although they are in Niskayuna) are City jobs? Hum, where are the 4,000 other jobs (ps - moving the DOT doesn't count, those weren't new jobs created). |

here is how bankrupt the some people are.... someone on this site complains that mc is claiming 4k jobs. but, hull himself is claiming 3k jobs.. so wtf? even his own master says there have been jobs created. the issue is how many..
so anyways, just goes to prove what a complete and utter suck up some people are... |

It was a joke ! cars pulling out of the GE lab WONT TURN LEFT. over half ( 1800 ) the employees have a doctorate. there are no jobs for lawn maintenance, housekeeper, sandwich maker etc- I think you need a degree to wash the windows at the lab - there are more phd's working there than most Universities- it was a freakin joke What kind of a person is waiting for someone to make a job for them ? salami you have lived in Schenectady waaaay to long. wake up dude. Are you waiting for someone to get elected and make you a job? really ? too many people coasting for too long with no imagination and no ambition. |

Joke all you want, but it's not a laughing matter when the City is heading down a slippery slope and people like McCarthy keep telling the masses how great it is.
It's not great. The school are not great, my taxes are not great and the safety of the City is non-existent. The only cheerleaders for Schenectady (SB, DV, Somebody) don't even live or pay taxes in the City. Pay my taxes for one quarter, you won't be smiling anymore..... |

It's all made up numbers. It's a typo. McCarthy meant to say 4,000 jobs have left the City since he became Mayor. The incumbent DEMS are now put on notice that the press will be questioning you when you lie about phony jobs numbers. |
