Still don't know how anyone can support this lie of job creation when in actuality, the County lost over 7,000 jobs in the last 7 years. That's 1,000 jobs leaving each year. If you're going to state facts, you better tell the whole story, not just half-truths.
Believe Betchel, Super Steel both downsized by the hundreds meanwhile their main workforce left the State. Even with $100 million Metroplex dollars, there were still more jobs leaving Schenectady than staying.

Unlike Metroplex claims to 5000 jobs that comes from the Metroplex, Democrat headquarters and propagandized through the Gazette that fact checks NOTHING, there is actually irrefutable evidence that Schenectady lost jobs by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. And that's without factoring in the increase in population. Measuring "we could have lost more jobs" isn't a measurable statistic. I don't even know how the Democrats can hold their heads up and claim Schenectady is a success. If they think Schenectady is successful, what is unsuccessful?
McCarthy lied about creating jobs when the County actual lost jobs and everyone knows it. Goofy should release his college transcripts. Since Goofy is an expert in solid waste {judging from his literature} let him manned the pollution plant between City Council and his gumshoe duties.

Everybody knows 5000 jobs is an exaggerated bullshit claim. Even during non recession times, the employment number has been relatively steady during the tenure of Metroplex. You can probably track the employment peaks in dips and realize they are relative to the Federal Reserves increasing and lowering of the interest rates.
The only thing Metroplex has done was give a central planner the authority to pick the winners and losers and give one business the advantage over their competitor. The people are just now realizing those choices were purely politically driven. The aw of the pretty new buildings downtown has worn off.
