HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......

This list is for the past SEVEN YEARS.....

AND it includes jobs (Adecco, MVP, Transfinders) which simply moved from one spot in Schenectady to another spot in Schenectady.....it's not job creation at all!!!!!

Handbag place isn't creating jobs, they're staying in Troy.

DHA is creating jobs...those went to Amsterdam.

Lennon's doesn't even have 5 employees, let alone 10. That's projected.

More Perreca's doesn't have 15 new jobs (future hope) and the Sweets Downtown, the same...projected...

Where's the f**** list of real job creation in the City????? Where is the list where real people are really working in the City???? Not a part-time dishwasher....a job where a person can support a family.

This is such crap.......

Betchel 85 jobs saved and 132 lost???

Clinton's Ditch 10 jobs?? Good thing the Metroplex forgave the $31K they owed the taxpayers

662 jobs at the Navy Reserve center? That didn't happen.

Fortitech was ALREADY in Schenectady, they just built a new building.

So for $100 million Metroplex dollars - this is it? FANTASTIC!!!

It's all made up numbers. No one believes these DEM morons. McCarthy can't talk about his record of raising taxes and fees so he makes job "creation" figures up.  Even DEM committee people are fleeing this tax and borrower.

what else did anyone expect from the gazette and it's handlers.

It is so misguided that ya don't even know where to begin.

First....the price chopper freezer is a relocation from colonie that price chopper planned almost a decade ago...hence...no NEW jobs. And remember that Neil is on the plex board!

Second....target would have moved into glenville even if the plex was non-existent.

third.....villa italia is a taxpaid relocation

forth.......marcellas is a taxpaid relocation

fifth.......the recovery room is there because they were connected (bbl) and got a piece of taxpayer's money.

sixth.....the kingsway expansion was a plan in the works for years driven by future insurance predictions and changes.

seventh....shoprite has been scanning this entire area for years. They would have moved here with or without the plex.

eigth......railex would have move here with or without the plex.

..........and the handbag business isn't here yet.....I'll believe it when I see it.

And perhaps I missed it, but they failed to try to take credit for the golub office relocation too. Something that has been in the plan for a decade also. And that was a sweetheart deal too. Golub leases the building from galesi. AGAIN...no new jobs, just a relocation!!

.........and the list goes on!!

It's all pre-election smoke and mirrors folks!!! The plex is not a job creator....it's a construction contractor who subs it's workout to the 'selected few' by means of taxpayer's dollars!!!

Now go door to door and ask the residents how this is improving their quality of life and easing their tax burden. Go ask the folks at the dss building and those in the unemployment line!!!!

This is the worst case of yellow journalism in the Gazetto to date.

So, did they just print the numbers Gillen gave them or did they actually verify that these numbers were real? Did they check if MVP created 250 jobs and that it wasn't simply re-location??

Exactly why the TU won't print this crap - the TU actually verifies what it prints - the DEMS are the only editors for the Gazette.

Pathetic.....

Under 7 years of DEM economic "leadership" the COUNTY LOST 1,743 jobs! Everyone is laughing at the front page story in today's Gazetto. The DEMS have been caught again lying about job creation. First by the Times Union now by the Gazetto. The list is a joke and even the Union Economic professor said so.

Where are the jobs Mr Acting Mayor McCarthy/Death Ray/Gary Hughes?  ROTFLMAO!!

Let's not forget, that it wasn't until MOZI got appointed to the rotterdam ida board, that the recovery gin mill aka bbl (a multi million dollar company), rec'd $20K in taxpayer's money toward demolition of the plaza. Since MOZI is trying to sell his business, it would only make perfect sense that he would want a 'nice' looking building across the street....yes? just sayin

MVP may have expanded AFTER they relocated FROM rotterdam!!! No net gain here! Woulda happened anyway. And let's remember that Gary Hughes works for MVP. Connected????

And let's also not forget that mvp pays NO taxes because they are a NOT FOR PROFIT!!! And who built that MVP building?

10.1    Use of Sales for Appraisal Purposes

A transfer of real property may be used for appraisal purposes when it does not have any of the following characteristics. Where examples are given, they are intended to be illustrative and are not inclusive of all possibilities.
1. Sale between relatives or former relatives

2.Sale between related companies or partners in business

3.One of the buyers is also a seller

4.A government agency or lending institution is a party to the sale

5.The Deed is not warranty or bargain and sale

6.Less than fee interest is conveyed

Examples:
- Life Estate

- Seller retains mineral or other rights

7.Sale of a business is included in sale price

8.Other Unusual Factors

Examples:
- Sale from a descendant's estate

- A party to the sale is a not-for-profit corporation

- The conveyance involves subsidized housing

- Forced sale, such as foreclosure or auction, whether due to nonpayment of taxes, bankruptcy, divorce, or judicial order

- Substantial personal property, if the amount of personal property is not contained on the RP5217 form

- Sale of common area for condominium or homeowners' association

- Assumed mortgage or cash consideration is not reported

- Transfer was not the result of a transaction on the open market due to a relationship between buyer and seller (e.g., Tenant/Landlord), and that relationship led to a sale that is not indicative of market value

- Trade of property

- Price not indicative of market value as shown by objective data such as a price per square foot comparison

- Correction deed required

-Sale price restricted trust

- Uninformed buyer/seller

9.Full sales price minus personal property equals $10 or less

10.More than 1 year (365 days) between contract date and date of sale.

What part of 'created jobs' don't you get?
Do you even know what a 'created job' is?

The job load with the 'help' of the plex aka taxpayer's dollars are minimal to none at best. And I don't give a rat's a$$ if it is Gary Mcarthy or Ray Gillen or Roger Hull or Susan Savage that is attesting to it....it's a lie!!

They have no business taking credit for kingsway, shop rite, golub freezer or target since they were corporate plans that have been years in the making....with or without the plex!!

And let's not forget the RELOCATIONS!!! The transfer of jobs from one location in the county to the other!!

The only thing that the plex can shamefully take credit for is giving the farm away to businesses that are now tax exempt! Including the relocations that the taxpayer's paid for.

The Bow Tie is empty all the time! Paul Mitchell employs TWENTY FIVE people??????? At $10K a pop for each student and not paying little if any taxes....what a profit they are turning over, huh?

And how's Little Italy working out for Cornells???

CREATED JOBS............what a joke!!

The government needs to leave job creation in the hands of entrepreneurs!!! The governments roll is to provide low taxes, sound infrastructure, low crime, a good school system and a population that can afford these services!!

It's a total joke. No mention of any business closed or leaving Downtown. And where are the 4,000 jobs McCarthy created? Gee I wonder why the Gazetto printed this laughable story? 3,100+ readers know why. All the DEM morons do is add up jobs moved from Rotterdam to Downtown-which creates nothing and destroys the town tax base, No wonder town taxes smash the Cuomo cap and McCarthy has to screw everyone by doubling City fees.
