I said that in the Perry for president thread, he came in late in the campaign hoping to avoid his past but his past is so damning he couldn't ignore it for long.

and pigs are much nicer/more good natured creatures   than Republicans like MT and GB and Mertzie/Bumblethru ---- and in the case of MT ...  any pig would be a much better catholic christian than he is (and would stink up those KoC meeting much less)

Our founding fathers penned a simple, straight forward constitution protecting the liberties of all. Paul is just following suit. It really is that simple. It is decades and decades of government getting larger and larger and more intrusive that makes one think there needs to be a MASTER PLAN to make it work. If you want to keep the government in the same misguided direction it is in..........vote for an establishment candidate and not paul. But if you want to return to a more simplistic form of government as it was intended then I would suggest giving paul a shot!!!

It's really that simple!!!

But his answer to nearly every question was "no war" and "bring the troops home" - which is fine when you're talking about foreign affairs, but jobs, economy, etc - that was his answer to everything.  He laid out no plans, no potential costs, cost savings, how he'd work with different parties, experience (other than being a gynecologist), etc ..

He just really baffles a lot of people - and scares just as many.

Answered NO question?  Maybe not during the fixed debates, but he certainly laid out his governing philosophy on internet media and cable and Sunday news shows.  Of the questions asked during the debates, he's the only one that answered the questions honestly and thoughtfully.  He didn't hedge or pander.  He is the only person that has drawn STARK contrast.  Not only contrast between he and his fellow republicans, but also the democrats.  And when called out by Perry, he even clarified his differences he had with Ronald Reagan, and didn't suck up to the Reagan mystique - IN THE REAGAN LIBRARY!

Paul has been clear on his plan.  
-REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BY ELIMINATING   FEDERAL BUREAUCRACIES (CUT SPENDING)

-REDUCE THE POWERS OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH (RULE BY MANDATE)

-REDUCE OUR INVOLVEMENT IN FOREIGN NON DECLARED WARS (BRING THE TROOPS HOME).

The problem neo cons have with Paul's message is, they have been conditioned to believe conservatism is central planning that benefits THEIR collective interests.  So when you say he has no "plan", that is the point of his message, our government wasn't meant to plan our collective lives.  His plan is individual Liberty the Constitution, and Free Markets.  

If Paul had a plan, he would be no different tha a neo-con or democrat.
