The government ONLY creates government jobs, it does NOTHING for the private sector. That's what liberals don't understand. The best the government can do is to provide a good climate for business and then GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY. The biggest mistake Bush, Obama, and the federal reserve made was to attempt a soft landing by the bailouts and stimulus. They should not have bought the bad debt, it should have been liquidated. We would have started a REAL recovery by now, instead of this "Japan of the 90's" style malaise.
This malaise will last at least through most of this decade.
