I happen to consider Chief Jasenski one of my personal friends. He is a dedicated father, leader and a heroic First Responder. On this day of all days he should be accorded the RESPECT THAT ALL FIRST RESPONDERS DESERVE! ...indeed his opponents should DROP OUT of the race for having the gaul to run against a First Responder on the 10th jubilee of such a horrific event that killed so many of our heroes that day- 9-11. However neither of these blatant right wing haters has the decency to do that. One of them is even a TEA PARTY TRAITOR, who is dead set on destroying America as much as any Osama Bin Laden.

My parent's elderly neighbors said they are gonna burn this flier tonight............'protecting vital services for the frail elderly'!!!

they said that the 'frail elderly' really means keeping the rotterdam senior gossip center which is useless and not needed!!

they really thought the word 'frail' was just a bit much!!!

Even 'they' called it rhetoric!! KUDOS TO THE ROTTERDAM SENIORS!!

Oh and they also would like to know what and where the 3500 jobs are? And would also like to know when the ge battery plant was going to open. rumor has it....it's not!

community from 2008 - 2010.

His dedication to and support of our Senior Citizens and their families resulted in a proposal that encouraged family caregiving through an incentive to help defray the cost of an elderly relative choosing to live with them at home versus being institutionalized. While his proposal was scoffed at by some and has yet to be enacted, Mike was not deterred and continues to advocate for the weakest among us, our Seniors- to ensure that their voices are heard.

Mike is also very proud of his Italian American heritage, and is an active member of the Sons of Italy Lodge.

Mike is goal oriented, very organized, extremely motivated, while also a good listener and problem solver who possesses an uncanny ability to work well with others. He is very passionate about his beliefs, and his desire to do good and give back to his community infects everyone he comes in contact with. Mike will make an excellent addition to the Rotterdam Town Board.

Do the elderly feel like weak frail victims?  Not the ones I talk to...They still seem pretty feisty.  The victim seniors from the "greatest generation" are now a minority of seniors...They are either in nursing homes or have passed.  The new senior is the boomer senior, and I'm not so sure they consider themselves "frail" victims.

The handle they move him around with, that way the hair gel doesn't get stuck between the fingers.

I was talking to an 84 year old "frail elderly" guy today who could kick my asz and two or three other young guy's aszes in one sitting. He is voting straight GOP.

Controlling Taxes? LOL! Major supporter REMS tax that was destroyed in December AND voted to increase County taxes $11 MILLION a year for 25 years. He created 3,500 jobs? ROTFLMAO! McCarthy and Hughes are also lying about creating the same 3,500 jobs. Where are the jobs Tony? Vote for Bob Godlewski. He doesn't support the County Home fiasco.

It is like an old song from a one hit wonder, played over and over for 30 years. It just isn't novel enough that lie about the 3,500 jobs!

Talk about desperate. The "frail elderly" are the same ones TJ Hooker is trying to soak with his $11 million yearly County tax increase. For 25 straight years! The worst DEM town chair in history. A complete embarrassment at the County who arrogantly refuses to listen to any resident. Dump all SS Savage stooges.

He didn't care about the "frail" elderly walking across the icy parking lot at Town Hall in December, then stand in a line for 1 hour, just to vote down a taxing district 2 to 1.  A vote for a taxing district that would have put a financial strain on those "frail" elderly on fixed incomes.  Remember...Social Security didn't receive a COLA last year...Yet Jasenski was lobbying the Town for a property tax increase.  Yeah...He really care about the elderly.

In a year since   Tony J was elected town chair  --  a position vacated because Mr. Cooke took his ball and ran home when he didn't get his way on a matter up for vote before the town committee -- Tony J has presided over a town committee that has filled EVERYONE of the 50 committee seats (we even have a bench of assistant committee persons .. because so many have desired to be a member of the committee),   the party had more money at the beginning of an election cycle than it ever had under Mr. Cooke  (I remember Mr. Cooke beggingme to write a check to the town committee 6 years ago .. so that the town committee could buy stamps for a fundraising mailer)  and  inspired many to volunteer their time on committee activities.

I have personally witnessed Tony J interacting with residents and listening to them and their needs/concerns.

Your attacks on him are utterly without merit and are a pack of lies.
