Sch’dy housing authority gets deserved recognition

The Schenectady Municipal Housing Authority (SMHA) has been rated as “High Performer” agency, according the latest assessment scores released by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Housing authorities receive assessment designations of either Troubled (0-69 percent), Standard (79-89 percent), or High Performer (90-100 percent).
    SMHA owns and manages 1,032 housing units, and administers 1,366 housing choice vouchers under its Section 8 program. It received a high performer designation by achieving an assessment score of 95 percent. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development [HUD] reviewed the physical condition of the agency’s properties, its financial soundness, management, residential satisfaction and quality of services.

You have built an empire at taking from producers and giving to lobs and lazy lower classes, making them lazier, more ignorant and entitled. And you and your kind have done this at the detriment of the society for 50 years with your Great Society BS, until you have taken a great State and a great City and brought it to its knees, all for the benefit of yourselves. You have destroyed a whole class of people and made it impossible to repair. You have raised them on the concept that it will all be "free." You have crushed an entire generation of people and enslaved a race on a welfare plantation where you and the other democraps can be the "mastas." Nice of you, really. How compassionate.

I might be missing something here...........this is yet more proof that there are no jobs.....yes? But how many taxpaid jobs have been created to maintain these high performing municipal buildings? What is the actual cost to the taxpayers to maintain and operate these buildings?

I want to extend my congratulations to the excellent people who operate the SMHA. Without them, homlessness and many other problems would be prevalent in our county. Hopefully soon, when the towns are merged into a greater Schenectady City, the program and its housing can be extended into the areas formerly known as the "towns."

Schenectady does a GREAT JOB running a welfare program...Why am I not surprised?  

Democrats need to take care of their voting base.  Pander to the multi-million dollar big businesses through Metroplex, and pander to the welfare voter through social programs.  Everybody in the middle can continue to work their asses off (if they have a job) just to keep their heads above water.

Schenectady is nothing more than a welfare state/city. And the funny/sad part is..........they brag about it in the daily rag!! OMG!!!
