The United States is falling behind in global economic competition. Japan and China are leading the way. The United States is still wasting its resources in useless and immensely expensive wars. Obviously, that is the main reason we are in huge debt. What must be done? 1) Stop invading other countries and killing people there. 2) Admit we are falling behind in global economic competition. 3) Let the world know we will give military aid to no one, but medical aid and food to any country that needs it.
Short and to the point. Although medical and food aid should also be handled through charities not the government, the government when it handles aid usually wastes it and it is almost certain the aid makes its way into the wrong hands.
