The SPD is investigating the discovery of a man's body on the second floor of long vacant Andy's Ski Shop at 738 Albany Street by neighbors. It is unclear when the man died or the causation. The SPD is continuing to investigate and an autopsy is planned.

Glad you brought up Bethesda House. It was hilarious when their gas bag leader was dumped after pulling in $100,000 for years. A constant presence at the rail blasting tax payers for not giving her enough. The DEM City idiots gave them $1 MILLION to move to Vale despite the fact that neighbors did not want them. They had to clean up Downtown for the many shoppers -lol. Death Ray bought their parking lots despite his lies that he won't help non-profits. So you had City and County DEMS working together to oppress the minority community in Vale. And it gets better. The DEM morons on City Council forced out a black owed business, Anderson Paving, making them relocate to Colonie!
The city said it would be closer to the people it served. Closer to where the homeless people live? Hmm. What is wrong with that concept...? The city attorney, I believe it was, also badmouthed the business owner on his way out of town. They couldn't even hold the door so it wouldn't hit him in the butt? I'm pretty sure it was Van Norden who tried to make the guy sound unreasonable. He also badmouthed the Pizza King, when they were trying to run him (the Pizza King) out of business. Somebody who gets sweet deals for himself who doesn't want longtime business owners to even get a fair deal.
That is the 2nd body they found there in the last 5 years is it not? Who owns that building any ways, the place has been vacant for almost 2 decades now. The city should just tear it down, its nothing but an eye sore.... but yet so is half that area

Henry yes there was another body found in the building adjacent not so many years ago. (the large brick apt buiding that has been vacant for many years) on the corner of Paige and Albany St.

Because of 35 years of DEM "progress" they don't have any money to tear it down. They could scrap the money together for McClellan and Brandywine School. That's it. These DEMS are fiscal incompetents and the sooner more wake up and realize it the better. Before the DEM takeover Albany St actually had private businesses! Now after alleged DEM "progress" its all boarded up with couple of nonprofits thrown in to totally screw the taxpayers. Death Ray should move some hot dog vendors over there for job creation.

It is clear that these tax supported non-profits are not putting a dent in rehabilitating those who have no desire to be. It is like walking through a revolving door......just ending up back where you started...... accomplishing nothing or very little at best.
There should be an overhaul of all tax supported non-profits with an oversite committee with goals to evaluate their accomplishments. And if these goals are not met................. close the doors to the money pits!!
