Obama was a 'feel-good' placement for all that was to come tumbling down.....and the tsunami was building up momentum LONG before Bush...
this was generational machine from the depression......

we got an African-American president to beat an Anglo-Saxon American.....ooooooooo....did we really think it wouldn't happen?

I will not lay it all at Dems or Reps feet, I will not lay it all at Bush or Obama feet.....this is a machine with MANY cogs and sprockets.....

Atlas Shrugged and here we are......we can sit here and talk about the wallpaper all we want but it doesn't change the layers underneath

illusion is everything

I am not certain that we need the Marlboro Man as president because no matter how good looking the man is, I can't see someone with that braggadocio, and with that much stridence in office leading our country. We are a diverse land and another white male from the confederate south sends the wrong message to our future generations and the world.  GG

Actually, I think Rick Perry would make a good president --- and since it looks like no one will be challenging President Obama for the Democratic nomination --- I have to look outside my party for a candidate to support and vote for.

Condolezza Rice would get my vote.....as for the Marlboro Man...that would be like voting for Danica Patrick.....as for the male
or female issue,,,it will just be token just like Obama.....they aren't made in a vacuum.....it would be embarassing to have a woman
now...not because it was a woman but because the systems 'skirts' are up.....and the wizard is almost naked or is it the Emperors
naked?

Rick Perry... George Worst Bush... Hard to tell the difference.

"It's a theory that's out there, Perry said. "It's got some gaps in it. In Texas we teach both Creationism and evolution."
(Rick Perry on Evolution)

There is NO Science in Creationism... NONE! No Adam & Eve, no Noah's Ark, no the earth is 6-10 thousand years old. At one time you'd risk being burned at the stake for believing the SCIENCE that the Sun was the center of our solar system... Texas isn't far behind.

The USA has freedom of religion, and so does Texas... as long as that religion is Fundamentalist Christian.

Actually - there is some science in Adam & Eve .... with all of the research into genes, dna, etc .... scientists believe that all of the world's people descend from a common pair of ancestors --- the Bible happens to call them Adam  & Eve -- there actual names (if they had names) is irrelevant .. the Bible is telling a greater, deeper truth ... the Bible truth told in Genesis is that humankind descended from a common pair of ancestors who were created by God.

Don't know why anyone is wasting their breath on any of these rep candidates. There will NOT be a republican in the oval office in 2012 if the reps don't endorse paul. Like it or not....those are the cold hard facts!!! If he doesn't get the nomination....which apparently he won't.....his supporters, and he has tons of them.....will just run him on the 'libertarian' line. If that ends up being the case.....the rep candidates will have wasted MILLIONS of dollars and endless campaigning for nothing while obama won't have to lift a finger!!

And the more the media tries to play Paul down.......his supporters, that are growing daily........will be pushing even louder and stronger!!

It it is also apparent that even the FOX machine won't be strong enough to hold the paul supporters down.

so don't waste your breath on any of these rep candidates. They are NOT going to win!! imho

If you 'hear anger', then Cicero, once again, you got it wrong.

I love watching these Right Wing Extremists force their religion on the rest of America.     Amusing, yes.... Idiotic, of course... Sad, very.  But anger??? Nope!

I watched a PBS Nova on this very subject... As I understand it, science can trace the genetics of an EVE some 200,000 years ago... but not an Adam.  Eve was probably not the first woman, but, since many genetic lines have probably gone extinct, of humans alive today, they can all be traced to one common female ancestor, they call EVE!

"Force their religion"?  They are teaching BOTH evolution and creationism.  Aren't you pro-choice?
