Is this news or a human interest story?  To me, it is neither.

The Spotlight has a story a week on ANG. The usual chicken s**t good for lining a bird cage. Of course he's not worried about BG in the DEM primary-lol,

Great story about a good man --- it brings back memories from when my grandparents raised chickens and ducks.

We need more small family farms like this -- between my two sets of maternal great-grandparents (one had a dairy farm in Rotterdam and the other a pig farm in Saratoga County), my maternal grandparents (who raised chickens, ducks and a huge vegetable garden including about an acre of potatoes in Rotterdam,  my grandmother's sister and her husband who raised a variety of vegetable son their place in Rotterdam  --- the families were able to grow enough food to feed the huge extended family and sell the rest to make some extra money.

I wonder, does Mr. Santabarbara keep these chickens that he has at his place of residence on Conqua Lane?  This is the address that he has always used when sending out political mailings, but at the same time, that residence is as an R-1 zone, residential, 1 family.  At this location, these would actually be against the town code.  Now, if he had a property that was zoned as agricultural, then maybe this would be more appropriate.  I didn't find any other residences owned in the town that are agricultural owned by him (as per the 2011 final assessment that is lined on the town's website, p 1080).

Also to bring up something that was on another link on this site, I see where it was posted that Mr. Morris is taking the homestead discount on more than one property in the County.  It appears that he's not the only one.  Go into the town's list of current evaluation and search for Santabarbara Angelo

There are multiple properties for an Angelo Santabarbara, which it states that the home address for this Mr. Santabarbara is 166 Vernon Drive, Duanesburg, but the homestead exemption is taken at multiple properties...

P 541, 2916 Clyde Ave
P 766, 3233 Williams St
p 2100, 1813 Curry Road

I don't know if these are for Legislator Santabarbara, but I am a novice at looking at these things and can see that a person with an address in Duanesburg should not be getting a homestead exemption (for a primary residence) on more than 1 location, especially not in the town that they are even listed as residing in.

Back when Angelo and I were friends and political allies (before he betrayed those to who he had promoted himself
as a conservative), I visited him at his home on Conqua Lane several times.  I can state that, at that time, the chickens
were there.  He had built a structure (coup) for them.  That was several years ago.  I don't know if he continues to
keep them at his residential R-1 zoned property.

Either way, the coverage by OSM is chicken crap in my opinion.

This should have been a human interst piece, however the host blurts out that he happened to be a Schenectady County Legislator, and that's when it went south quickly . . . .

Since they stabbed SACC in the back the entire OSM/Morris operation is chicken s**t. Did you see the recycle show 10 times today? Another cash cow for DEM idiot who blames the tea party for his stunad investment decisions.

The Spotlight is the only "new organization" that would print this. As one DEM operative told me you could pass gas on a piece of paper and fax it to the Spotlight for news. They make the Gazetto look bipartisan. ANG is up his knees in chicken s**t and everyone knows it -especially BG. Funny how Farmer DVR thinks this is a vital issue. Rotsa Ruck in the primaries!

If the town of Rotterdam determined the Westside Ave race track wasn't a race track, then I'm sure they will determine that Angelo's chicken coups are not chicken coups.

Look, everyone knows that these codes don't mean anything, ever- in Rotterdam. It is who you know, and if you are a democrap official you have carte blanch to practically molest high school girls and have the local police force leaders cover it up for you. Oh, I should have left the word "practically" out of that sentence. My bad. So nothing will come of the chicken roost experiment for Baby A-Jello.

True GB.  But, the esteemed Legislator stated in the puff piece that he inquired of town officials THREE YEARS AGO about town code.  That was during the last administration, not the current one.  At that time, Santabarbara was a Republican and the future of his party.
