These two books will satisfy my reading lust for a while.



It is amazing how Europeans have more interest in our Civil War than we, our interest has been beaten out of US by the Nanny State Slavery business.  If you are white you should dwell on slavery guilt.  During wars of early 20th Century stupid Americans were dwelling on Napoleon while Europeans marveled at the logistics of the Union (North).  Northern generals were A/O's.  The North's effort was a preamble for WWI.



A cottage behind our had an English couple & their two sons.  They doing US for a month +, Canada also.   The husbands people were Huguenots who escaped to England from France in 1680, St Barnabas Day Massacre.  His wife laughed when I told her husband about the books I bought, she said he was buying books on American Civil War also.



His grandfather 'went over the top' many times on the Western Front in British Army, as my elder cousins did in British Army & ANZAC's (Australian, New Zealand, South Africa & Commonwealth, etc.)  Cast of millions.



Anglo Canadians tell US the French language disease is spreading.  It is doing to Anglo (English speaking) Canadians the 'blacks of pre 1960's south'.  Many goody two shoe Churches are bringing AliBabas over, setting them up in business, putting Canadians (Anglos) out of business & giving them five year tax abatement's that they pass on to the next AliBaba coming over.  Ditto what Spanish language is intended to do in US.



They took the 'honor' of the Civil War from US (history) now our language then we become a second rate minority.  Welcome back Jim Crow.
