SCHENECTADY -- Police are appealing for the public's help as they look into a hit-and-run car accident Friday afternoon that sent a 27-year-old city resident to the hospital.
The woman, who was walking in a crosswalk, was treated at the scene and taken to Ellis Hospital for non life threatening injuries after the accident which occurred around 1223 State St. shortly before 3:20 p.m., city police said.
