I'll remember that next time I drive by someone doing roadwork. I should have more respect for the flagman than the person actually doing the work with the big machinery. Right. Ok. |

so FDG knows how to use a "joy stick" -
the issue is where is Fu(kin "LEADERSHIP" stop running for office and do what the people hired you for - LEAD
how many times does this need to be said
understand what the job is and work within the rules -
stop the handouts to friends and family, stop the micro managing of department, get appointed staff the truly cares about our town in place - the issue in this town is at the top and middle not at the bottom - failure to act now on regional issues will impact this town for another 20-30 years
FDG holds the checkbook for the town if he didn't squander thousands on the mismanagemnet of a firing, crosstraining, and lack of an ambulance contract he would have been ahead, not behind on August 1st as it was he was almost under 8% in spending in the budget at the end of june, 10% of 15 million might have made an impact in the near future
the pepole of this town and most importantly the junction need a "LEADER" - helping with a tonka toy and handing out free fired dough wont cut the mustard
I'd rather see Incident Commander Shawn(sp) as our Supervisor and Pat Carrol(sp) as the head of DPW- at least they Get It!
the people in the junction need the truth, a plan, a direction, and $$$ to get electricty to their homes so they can salvage their structures if possible - if it wern't for people like Mr.Green helping a lifelong neighbor, the children of elderly homeowners, town and county workers and many, many unknown volunteers the homeowners would be left with their thumbs up their asses waiting for our town leadership to act |

tippy you are sounding like a true democon lately. FDG was there. never said he was a good super but why the nit picking? Just wait a while....and you will find plenty to b**ch and nit pick about when you see how FEMA and SEMA respond. |

Unfortunately not everyone owns a backhoe or similar heavy equipment...otherwise I'm certain that others could have helped in the same fashion. Some people work with their brains and others work with their hands...that is what makes the world go 'round! |

Remember he is our elected leader - thus he is held to a higher standard I don't care what his name or initials are
As for a democon
How so, I'm not making your donation for you I am passing on information as to what is needed and the weakness in the system that our "leaders" should have seen
Most of the homeowners I have worked with over the weekend have the means to make the first step they need information and guidence
Physically loading a family's memories into a trash truck with them by your side helping will test your party beliefs to the limit
It is when the rebuilding begins that we will see the true difference between the prepared, the true american, and the opurtunist
I may be more center than you like but the boat needs to find some calm water for repairs.
Promising people tax cuts and not telling the truth just keeps us in troubled waters

Information and guidance from whom - a politician? I think the community coming together without waiting for government direction is exactly what needs to happen. Sitting around while Shumer, Cuomo, and Tonko pander to the victims is shameless and NOT leadership. The local community volunteers responded a WARP SPEED in comparison to FEMA or any State or Local Agency. The victims of these floods need to look around and realize who responded to them in this time of crisis. And in most cases, it was an unorganized response from neighbors, friends, and family, donating their time, money, and equipment to do the job that needs to be done. This is an example of human benevolence that happens it time of need that government says would never happen if there wasn't a tax funded bureaucracies created to respond to these disasters. |

Correct by we are talking town leaders. - not state or national A "business leader" elected to be our supervisor Our volunteer system is being pressed to the limit and I am in no way faulting their system Our local elected leaders should be acting in the best interest of the community as a whole - the backhoe sitting job could have been delagated and our leadership team could have been working with town existing town resources to meet tne upcoming needs of those in trouble As to who jumps in it works hardest - not local law enforcement - god for bid they get those beatiful black uniforms and boots dirty - I have heard stories some were afraid of the water not wanting to get their boots wet during the evacuation |

WHO CARES???????????????? THIS is why the American public thinks it cant do an F'EN thing......as if the leaders doing nothing means the masses do nothing? HEEEEEELLLLLO YOU MORONS! DONT BE A MORON.....just do what you do...dont worry about the elected... they are NOT responsible for our survival.....they are there BECAUSE of our survival....BUT, dont let them patronize you.......GET IT! |
| ...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Unfortunately not everyone owns a backhoe or similar heavy equipment...otherwise I'm certain that others could have helped in the same fashion. Some people work with their brains and others work with their hands...that is what makes the world go 'round!
it is an odd assumption that hands can operate independant of a brain and that a brain functions for it's own sake a brain us useless without a body to bring it into physical reality just as a body without a brain is a manikin or womanakin or tranakinor a manakin in a womanakin or womanakin in a manikin its so confusing anymore can't tell whooz who on the farm another odd but also arrogant assumption is that we make the world go roound. you are aware of the fact that you are on a spinning rock hurtling through space that does what it does with or without you. the only thing man has done is threaten the delicate balance in which everything hangs it is especaily evident this time of year autumn beautiful colors the shortening of the days all the changes that happen as a result of the situation of our spinning rock in relation to a large ball of fire that happens to be a just the right distance to warm us and energize us without frying us in a solar flare a time when we used to celebrate a good harvest or all come together to support one and each other because of a disaterous summer that destroyed most of our crops... but ahh instead now we in our metro municipal big city meme are too busy for such small minded thinking the landscape is trashed with the pollution of political singage yeah its that time again the foreplay that leads us to erection day. yes all the organs are out all the prettiest bells and whistles tasells ribbons promises and proclamations and all the people say amen... dont fall for this game dont let some politcianakin come around with there big organakin and say to you you too can have an ogranakin like me you can be on my team if you cheer for me ill get ya some pork from the barrel ya know what the bible says about pork? in know the new crishin can eat pork but a pig is still a pig the only reason He lets you think that cuz he know they can't help it the people love the taste and dont care about what it is dont let them separate you into patties im mean parties in a way parties are like patties sure thay are ground up meat and meat by products sometimes they stuff it into a tube or the real good stuff is in intestines mmmmmmmmmm yummy all you guys running for office ,just go the hell home and let the people fend for themselves will ya yer way over priced so many of you for so many years have gotten your cheerleaders addicted to the pork we can not afford you nor are you worth the price extracted why do you have to take our voluntary tax donation by force cuz noe one in theri right mind would ever consider paying your extortionate fees your benefit package and refukintirement are unsustainable why do you think they want to provide a back door for people who sneak in through holes in the fence the jig is up the curtain is being rolled back and the rulers do not like it boycott the erection, dont vote send em all packin me knows it wont happen the people can not resist the opportunity for another one eventualy if man wont rule himself the erected ones and their cheerleaders will have become so all inclusive and all but the very elect will be addicted to pork that pigs will become extinct and the pigeaters will starve off unless of course they come up with a GMO pig there ya go GMO pork even the pork aint real anymore heheheheh |

Bashing our country and fearing the government are two things. The government is not our country, but you would have to step back and make clear distinctions between the "people" and the bureaucrats and thugs who manhandle, abuse, confiscate from and destroy those people to see the two distinct groups. |
| "While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat." |

The people that died on 9/11......did so because OF government!! They were all innocent folks experiencing the blow back for the decisions and actions the government has made.
Back in the day....it was 'we the people' that were the government. Not so today. imho |
