Hahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahah

This is very entertaining!

So I hear Buchanan and Surhada met with Mertz this morning, what's that all about?  It would seem to me a Buchanan/Surhada/Mertz alliance would be a big blow to GP and ST, would love to see that!

Perhaps they are trying to mend the fences created by GP and rebuilding the party by returning the party back to unity and ideology. TB is putting an all out effort to reunite and rebuild the rep party. JS has always been a staunch conservative....except for his last run on the REMS issue. And Mertzie...(here I go elevating myself )...has always shown leadership and great focus and vision for a better rotterdam for the taxpayers of rotterdam.

The word is that the remaining Republican committee members and candidates more than doubled the 5% required signatures (280) on Designating Petitions for town offices.  The number submitted was in excess of 600.

Very impressive that those results could be attained without the self-absorbed former committeepersons who deserted their party!

Watch out Severe, you might get sued for slander accusing someone of beating their family.

GB I don't know how hard law school is to get into and I don't know why you said that to PK...but lucky for you, one doesn't have to be a rhodes scholar to get into candy making...kind of amusing for the candy man to be critical of professionals lol

You must have me mistaken for someone else, however I am only critical of professionals who act like spoiled 10 year olds and say really, really dumb things, and who generally have an axe to grind because they somehow don't like how the chips fell in their own party. FS fits that criteria as of late. Otherwise anyone who makes an honest living gets the same treatment from me.

I am wondering how long it will take for Jerry Jr. (FS) to realize he's been fooled?  As far as Amedore and rcc bailing out the petition gathering, I hope they did.  Now that the trash has been taken to the curb, the "REAL" Republicans can get to work on rebuilding the party.   The more I have heard, the more I believe that Buchanan can build the party back up.  His biggest mistake was ever letting Rotterdam in the hands of Parisi, that proved to be a disaster.  I think that once ST started listening to GP it was over.  It's really too bad, ST was pretty good his first term.  Better than pretty good, he was actually great.

I have to agree with you in part. I don't know the 'inside info' of what 'specifically' happened to ST in his 2nd term or to the entire rotterdam rep party  except from what was in the newspaper or what was heard at the donut shop. But it is clear that it was at some point in his 2nd term and the attempt to win at his 3rd, that went south.

From the party airing it's dirty laundry in the court of public opinion, to trying to scam the rotterdamians with a $10K/month REMS bailout, to actually campaining and supporting the REMS taxing district and the negative campaigning is what was the 'on the surface' demise of the rotterdam rep party.

But now they are clearly appearing to be united, focused and and finally back to their grass roots ideology of conservatism and smaller government!! Kudos to the rotterdam reps!! FINALLY!!

That would be a good match.   Throw Brian and FDG's main supporter Amedore and they can have a basketball team.

I heard that back in the day Amedore was twice the basketball player that GP was, but spent his extra-curricular time learning the family business.  Former coach said that he would have loved to have had him play!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahah, that's a good one coming from GP who only got a job because his FATHER created the law firm from ground up.  Established a respected family name that Jerry destroyed, what a joke.
