They just interviewed a juror on tv and he said that he believed the grandfather should have been on trial, not the mother.

Putting aside the actual verdict, it has been interesting to note all of the attacks by the commentators/experts toward the defense lawyers.   Especially the attacks by Nancy Grace.   Simply put, the prosecution did not prove it's case to the jury.   Both sides followed the rules of our sysytem-one side won one side lost.   What strikes me as unusual is why hasn't the media experts attacked the intelligence, or lack thereof, of thev jury.   Ms. Grace did not approach this territory.   But after all they made the final decision and should be fair game to be critizied.   Both the prosecution/defense team did their jobs, as did the jury so why the hesitation to take the jury to task?

I see the jurors are busy cashing in and working on damage control.
Juror #3 has hired a publicist and will not speak with any interviewer for less than five figures.
Juror #6 said that she "cried" and was "sick to her stomach" because of the not guilty verdict, although it appears she might have gotten "sick to her Stomach" at DisneyWorld, which her and her family went to, all expenses paid by ABC... which of course, BTW, got her exclusive interview.

You know what is hilarious?  You are watching all the shows and creating the high ratings that these jurors are being paid to be on!!  YOU and the rest of the voyeurs in the media is what is driving this.  Why are you blaming the jurors?  This trial was a media creation by the likes of Nancy Grace.  The jurors wouldn't need to be in "damage control" if Nancy Grace and the rest didn't create this circus.

What's hilarious is your asinine ASSumption of what I am watching or not watching (juror 3 was on nightline, which I never watch). I can get all this info on the internet for free. So another theory of yours is shot in the azz.
You just don't like that what people have said about this jury is coming to fruition before your very eyes.

I wouldn't have expected anything less.  The elitist TV personalities and pundits had Casey convicted even before the trial. Now that they were WRONG they are blaming the jury for not reaching the verdict they reached even before the trial.  These personalities like Nancy Grace have to protect their reputations as the public’s omnipotent Judge - Jury - Executioner.  I'm not surprised they would use their positions in the media to destroy the reputations of these jurors. They can't be WRONG.

No, the jurors are doing this all by themselves, by hiring publicists and accepting free trips to DisneyWorld.
I'm surprised at their behavior, considering they are so "smart".

Hey it was up to the prosecutor to get the job done.  He was lousy at his job.  She goes free....but does she?  This will be hanging over her the rest of her life.  People are crazy--some "do-gooder" like the people who go after doctors who perform abortion might put a target on her back.  She will never be free nor will her family.  This is all a terrible tragedy.

The prosecutor only can work with what he has. If you look at his record over 30 years, being "lousy" was hardly an accurate description. With lying going on inside the entire Anthony family, plus a corpse exposed to elements with no useable DNA, they were behind the eight ball. Still, MANY convicts serving life are wondering today why they were convicted with much less evidence than what the Anthony case had. One of those is surely Scott Peterson.
Casey Anthony will NOT be treated like Lindsay Lohan who only manages to f things up for herself, she will be treated like OJ, as a person who got away with murder. Because of that, and her flawed character, I'd be willing to bet she is brought up on another felony within 5-10 years.

So if the jury found her guilty, they could accept trips to Disney and sell their story without being tarred and feathered by the media?  The verdict isn't what made the jurors famous; it was the high profile of the case.

Our legal system doesn't work because of the openness of our courtrooms allowing media access, which allows vaudevillians like Grace to convict a person publicly before a verdict is reached by the "stupid" jurors.  All done for rating I remind you.(but that's ok)  The fact that Casey can't walk around without fearing for her life, all because she was found guilty by the likes of Nancy Grace is a shame.

Even though there are imperfections of our system, and sometime the guilty may walk free, it doesn't mean we should embrace media agitators like Grace to continue pushing this lynch mob justice.
