I think we can all agree that on a regular day, there is very difficult parking down here.

SO WHY DON'T THEY JUST BLOCK IT OFF FOR THE FIREWORKS AND BUS 'EM IN?????

Kids running in the street, people speeding around and peeling out for a non-existent parking space, littering on our streets, the music, the yelling, UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Home already!

The city just has to tell people next year to park in the FREE Metroplex garage or whoever the hell owns it and then have
shuttle service. Christ, it isn't brain surgery!

And think of all the police OVERTIME they would save when they got at least five veihcles down here MANUALLY writng parking
tickets.

What happened to having them in Central Park?  Last year, we left the house at 3pm to head to Scotia for the fireworks and STILL couldnt get a parking spot.  It was a nightmare so we left and came home.  We didnt even bother going to them this year.  I dont have time to sit there all day in the park with a bored kid and an excited dog.  I think its nuts to put people through this.  I think they should have them in multiple areas so that there arent people crowding to one small area to see them.  Thats insane.

Oh, the dems got rid of the fireworks in Central Park.  The BS mayor didn't want people in Central Park so he outlawed the Tuesday in the Park which brought so many people to the park for an almost all day.  Even the homeowners around the area had no problem with it.   In fact one year, some friends of ours that lived on one of those streets between the main gate and Eastern Parkway, they invited a bunch of people over, we all went to the park during the day, enjoyed activites and went back to their house for a late evening BBQ and then sit outside and watch the fireworks in their yard, clear view.  

Those were the days when the people of the city meant something to the leaders.   Those were the days when the neighborhoods were important.   Today, the socialists ignore the neighborhoods but steal the money from the homeowners that live in the neighborhoods, and give all that money to the millionaires and billionaires.  THen they have these so called event downtown, which (except the Christmas parade) collectively do not generate the numbers of people that the one day in the park did,
